Re: What would happen to your collection....

(...) I have plenty of younger relatives/friends that would love my collection! My personal issue is how to divvy it up! (...) Eh, i'm not a great builder and am not particularly attached to anyhitng I've built. (...) Anything for you, John--you (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jan-08, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.general)

Re: What would happen to your collection....

Good question - hey I turned 40 last year too, but I have kids who will get it all. There are choices for those without an obvious beneficiary but first you have ask the really tough question: does the estate need the value of the collection in (...)   Re: What would happen to your collection....

(...) I'd make sure that the majority goes to the GMLTC. Of course they'd probably be cursing my name as they finished the sorting I never got around to doing, but they'd have a lot more bricks to build with. JohnG, GMLTC (17 years ago, 30-Jan-08, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.general)

Re: What would happen to your collection....

(...) Simple. Procreate:-) Or will it to relatives with kids or who are young adults that will be having kids (assuming loose bricks) If you are talking MOCs, they could be saved as heirlooms, or sold off on eBay. Sad to think about; thanks, Dave. (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jan-08, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.general, FTX)

What would happen to your collection....

Not going to be morbid or anything, but here's the scenario-- You pass on. What happens to your LEGO collection? Many of us have collections well into the thousands, and some of us have well into the hundreds of thousands of pieces. I'd imagine that (...)   Re: Can't find this part on Peeron: 2x2 plates with connecting stem

(...) That's more or less correct. If you pull up an individual part entry, the far right column shows what sets it's been used in (if it's a part, minifig, or some other sub-component of a set), and the next column to the left will give you rolling (...)   Re: colors.dat (Was: POV Color Cheat?)

I have two comments. First of all, it appears that you divided the colors in ldconfig.ldr by 256, instead of dividing by 255. For example, blue in ldconfig.ldr has RGB values of 0, 51, 178. Dividing these by 256 yields the values you have below, (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jan-08, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Can't find this part on Peeron: 2x2 plates with connecting stem

(...) Lugnet has a tab somewhere in the catalog section that gives the high and low and average price or medium price. It is very handy as I think that it keeps track of what was sold and does not reset once there are none on Bricklink John P (17 years ago, 29-Jan-08, to lugnet.parts)
