Re: NWBrickCon Town / Train Area - call for MOCs

(...) Hi Jeff, How will Cafe Corner style buildings work in? Will the sidewalks cause problems? I assume there's a solution for this, since it's a growing style now. I have at least one "straight" section I'd like to bring. Thanks & see you there! (...) (17 years ago, 11-Sep-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Ultrasonic Sensor iS "Slow"

(...) The 15 ms that John reported is the time it takes for a sound pulse to travel 500 mm, the round trip distance at the maximum advertised range of the US sensor. An interesting coincidence? Roger Glassey (17 years ago, 11-Sep-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Re: Problem with part 30208.dat

(...) Yep, I think you are right. The 30208.dat part appears to be 4 LDU too tall, unless there are more than one brick version of this part. Unfortunate, because to correct it will probably take a complete reworking of the part. -Matt :) ---...--- (...) (17 years ago, 11-Sep-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

NWBrickCon SPACE and Moonbase - call for MOCs

We have are going to have a spectacular SPACE and Moonbase display this year at Northwest Brick Con. There are 18 tables to fill between the two themes. That seems like a lot but it could fill up super fast with just a few enormous MOCs. I already (...)   Re: The Brick Testament - David Joins the Philistines

Ahhh...OK. I thought that that sounded King James-ish, but when I was looking in 25:21, I just couldn't find it. I haven't gotten myself a Holman yet. I usually read from the NASB, which is supposed to be a very accurate word-for-word translation, (...) (17 years ago, 11-Sep-07, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

  Problem with part 30208.dat

I recently CAD'd my Tequila Sunrise locomotive, which uses the part 30208.dat, Cylinder 4 x 4 Hemisphere Multifaceted. As you can see in the render, the part is overlapping the arch piece on the boiler: (URL) I built this locomotive in real life (...) (17 years ago, 10-Sep-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Another Q for the Ambassadors to ask TLG, please?

(...) If you look closely at your photo, especially the corner slope, you'll see that the surface is mottled, not smooth like bricks. This seems to confirm that it is a consequence of the deterioration of the molds. But note also this (URL) pic (...) (17 years ago, 10-Sep-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, lugnet.dear-lego)
