Re: Brickshelf - name your favorites

(...) For me, my top 3 would be (in no particular order): 1) Eric Strand's fabulous Samsonite Collection of LEGO Set pics. 2) Clark Stephen's great collecetion of LEGO parts (flags, roadsigns, bricks with names, etc), a great resource. 3) Jan (...) (17 years ago, 18-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

  RCX Roverbot morphs to NXT

I brought in all our RCX pieces for this week's "Lego A.T.V. Droid" class. I figured the kids might want to create a tracked robot or two. I made one myself after several kids struggled to create a sturdy base. At the moment, I'm staring at my (...) (17 years ago, 18-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Re: An Open Letter to Kevin (BrickShelf)

Thank you, Kevin. It started as a labor of love and unfortunately ended as just labor. (17 years ago, 18-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: Revitalizing or Replacing BrickShelf In Some Form

It looks like the situation could be getting complicated...there are all sorts of things happening. None, to me, look like Brickshelf successors. Eric's frankness as to the economic feasability is sound, however, the irony is this: if you charge for (...) (17 years ago, 18-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

Control Center I external power supply

I saw the inside of the Control Center 1 in Philo's BrickShelf gallery and was wondering if anyone has ever tried connecting it to a transformer. I know the second version came with a socket to connect the transformer, but I'd like to know if I'd (...) (17 years ago, 18-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Brickshelf Backup Crawler for Mac

(...) Boy, that is a lot more compact than mine! (...) It looks like it's only considering links to /cgi-bin/gallery.cgi. However, links to non-image files from the Brickshelf folder pages point directly to /gallery/username/foo/bar.dat. (Ah, I see (...)   Re: Review of set 7090, Crossbow Attack Review

Thanks for the honest and intelligent review! I think the problem with the new catsleline is that we've had so high expectations of it because it is clearly so much better than the most recent Castle sets. But at the same time, it isn't aywhere as (...) (17 years ago, 18-Jul-07, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: nxt interfaces with GPS using nxc or robotc?

(...) I've been wanting to do this for quite some time. John suggested using the IO map before, but I've never been able to get the data I needed from there.   Re: Revitalizing or Replacing BrickShelf In Some Form

This is what I had hoped for, especially if the old links could be preserved. I'd love to see a tiered version of Brickshelf to make it sustainable.
