Re: Extra COM port on PC?

I checked out Entrega's 2U1S1P Multifunction USB Hub (which adds a serial port and a parallel port without requiring additional IRQs) a few weeks ago. I found the serial port ("COM3USB") worked well for a 56K modem, a Palm HotSync cradle, the RIS IR (...) (27 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) If it's an internal modem, you could set the modem to use a non-standard interrupt and IO port and configure your software to match. That'll leave room for another standard port. Or you could put a couple devices on a switch box so you can use (...) (27 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Extra COM port on PC?

I bought a Palm Pilot and I got out of COM ports: Mouse + Modem + Palm Pilot + LEGO Tower Any recommendations on a board that can add an extra COM port (maybe two) to a PC so I can connect the CyberMaster tower? Another question, can we attach a COM (...) (27 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

The bricks have the hollow center in the studs but the baseplates (At least the baseplates) do not. Scott (27 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Q:Using DUPLO baseplates w/LEGO

I would think any fullheight bricks with an even number of studs in each direction ought to work, the DUPLO(r) baseplate studs are the same as the brick studs, their hollow center mates with the LEGO(r) tube. (...) (27 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: WTB: 1x2 round black tiles (accepting offers)

Sorry. what are 1x2 round tiles? I tend to think that something round has symettrical height and width. I know of 2x2 round tiles, and I know of 1x2 tiles with center top stud (which is round). (...) (27 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
