Re: What's new in LDD 2.0?

(...) So far I think that may be the only thing. I only see 8-10 % CPU. So much for wishing they would have improved LDD with all the recommendations they got. Back to Ldraw again for me. (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

Re: What's new in LDD 2.0?

(...) It is significantly faster and less of a hog. Apparently some people are running into graphic card problems but it's a huge, huge, huge improvement of 1.6. Featurewise 2.0 has a lot of cute things like right-click view rotation and other (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

  What's new in LDD 2.0?

Anyone figured out what the differences are between LDD 1.6 and 2.0? Does it still hog every available CPU cycle? --Bram (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

Now they are $0.32 a piece! I already purchased a (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.ldd)

(...) Hi Anton, Thanks for the info, I'm from the Netherlands to, and I agree using mm's is very logical. Not saying LDraw units are 'bad', but I think they are quite 'large'. Anyhow it's nothing conversion can't solve. I was just curious on which (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: The standard NXT firmware & the case of the missing opcodes

(...) I guess what I'm saying is '<<=', 'OP_ASL' and 'OP_LSL' are all the same thing (zero fill). '>>=' means either 'OP_ASR' (smear fill) or 'OP_LSR' (zero fill) depending on whether your target is signed or not. If you wanted direct equivalents (...) (...) Having used shifts in Z80 assembly before, I can see the uses of the different types. However, I can't see how I'd want anything other than arithmetical in the NBC opcodes. (...) Will, If you do manage to combine RCX & NXT, I expect it will look mashed-up, but unlike all the other stuff at BF, this is not a how-does-it-look competition.
