While poking around the other day, I saw a merchandising planning sheet in the Concord, CA Zany Brainy which listed the Aquanaut's Base and the Alien Avenger as being 50% off between 9/24 and 10/3. have you tested this approach? it seems like it would work, but the light sensor would have to be fairly far off the surface to get a wide viewing area. it seems it would also get a little hairy with the inconsistency of lighting to determine (...) (25 years ago, 25-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

my rcx works fine with a universal ac to dc wall outlet. it has a switch to change the voltage. i've got it set at 9v and it operates at 800mA max. i figured 6 batteries x 1.5v =9v. i think it was originally for a keyboard (musical instrument, not (...)
