Re: January Update (was: Re: December Update)

UPDATE #3 ===...=== Oh baby are we behind schedule:-0 (...) Back burnered. (...) Yikes. We need to get to work, but the time isn't there. We gotta BEAR DOWN! :-) JOHN (19 years ago, 9-Feb-07, to lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, FTX)

  Re: New LEGO digs!!!

(...) OR you could just have your pics hosted somewhere ELSE and use those funny things called embedded LINKS!!!!! meh.. what would i know, I'm not some IT guy for some major multi nation bus/waste company. :) Chris (19 years ago, 9-Feb-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(URL) I (URL) posted> an in-progress pic of this MOC before Thanksgiving (which I see I dumped; don't remember doing that). In any event, we've finished it and have finally taken some pics of it. My initial post covers the main points, but I wanted (...) (19 years ago, 9-Feb-07, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, lugnet.trains, FTX) !

  Re: Which glue?

(...) Unless this will be surely permanent, and a tight fit already, I'd recommend clear silicon caulk. That provides a back-out plan, if you need to undo, and flexibility between parts. But it may be too bulky and gap-filling for your smaller (...) (19 years ago, 9-Feb-07, to lugnet.parts.mod)

  Re: Which glue?

(...) No they are quite different. (URL) MEK> is not even a glue or epoxy at all. It is rather a solvent that literally loosens the plastic molecules of the ABS, and allows them to intertwine between bricks. Once it evaporates, the ABS returns to a (...)   Re: Which glue?

(...) AFAIK. Have you heard otherwise? I thought Super Glue was in the same type glue family as MEK. JOHN (19 years ago, 9-Feb-07, to lugnet.parts.mod, FTX)

Re: Classic Space vs. Star Wars, Image 1

(...) "I've got a bad feeling about this" Lovely irony. The RoboPants guy is cute. I look forward to seeing RoboForce wiping out the Gungans, and Blacktron skooling Stormtroopers in a hallway fight. Aaron (19 years ago, 9-Feb-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: NXT parts for MLcad 54087 or 56145

Hi all, (...) I checked the size with a 44292 wheel. It's exactly the same. I also checked on Peeron site, the two parts seem to be the same. (URL) Klein A Mindstorms fan. (19 years ago, 9-Feb-07, to lugnet.cad.mlcad, lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Classic Space vs. Star Wars, Image 1

I've got a few more images like this in mind that I need to work out in more detail, but here's the first in what'll probably be a small series: (URL) Enjoy! -best, Wolf (19 years ago, 9-Feb-07, to lugnet.space, FTX) !

  Re: Which glue?

(...) Thanks Ondrew. I had forgot that simple solution. Even have some onhand somewhere, and clear too. :) -Rob www.brickmodder.net (19 years ago, 9-Feb-07, to lugnet.parts.mod)

Re: TOP 100: e voi, quanti ne avete?

(...) Io 19 di cui 3 nei primi 10. Anche se per me mancano un paio di altre astronavi grandi. Saluti Antonella (19 years ago, 9-Feb-07, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Re: BrickFest™ PDX 2007 Event Identity Design

Cool idea, I'm sorry I'll miss out on this. Have you thought of a building competition where MOCs have to be built exclusively with 2 by 4 bricks? Kind of like that public art thing they had in Oslo last year? Magnus (19 years ago, 9-Feb-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

Re: New parts you would like to see Lego add?

(...) 1x3 jumper with 2 studs on top would be very useful versus a normal jumper, a 1x1 tile and delicate positioning :) (19 years ago, 9-Feb-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Which glue?

(...) 2part epoxy. it's thick which is why i don't use it, but it will be perfect for your application. it's also non cunductive. it smells horible when uncured but is as strong as abs when cured. you can get it at most auto parts stores for around (...)   Re: New LEGO digs!!!

(...) No, just generally slow--the photo album software I'm using tends to be slow at times. i know in a world where everything's delivered instantaneously that my little website seems tl take an eternity to load, but eh, it's free and we like it.   Re: I camion che trasportano le lastre di vetro...

(...) A me sembrava proprio che andasse in retromarcia! In ogni caso (con o senza retromarcia) è sicuramente più pratico e sicuro che caricare le lastre una alla volta su un rimorchio convenzionale.   Re: Monon FM H10-44

(...) What's just as easy as using the motor sidebars is cribbing from someone who has already addressed the problem; my lazy bones await your results:-D JOHN (19 years ago, 9-Feb-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Monon FM H10-44

(...) Thanks John for the advice and compliments. I will admit that it is the easy way to decorate the sides of the motors. I'll sit down this weekend and see what I can come up with. -J (19 years ago, 9-Feb-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
