(...) Wow. That's pretty darn disappointing. I even bought extra touch sensors to use in multiplexed designs (but I haven't made the multiplexer yet). I guess I'll have to build some of my own touch sensors... I wonder why LEGO designed the touch (...) (27 years ago, 25-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) The inch was redefined some time ago to make it equal 2.54 centimeters exactly. It used to be slightly larger, but it was close enough that it didn't really make any difference when they changed it. (27 years ago, 25-Aug-99, to lugnet.faq)

I know you went several hundred studs in length if I recall, but is there any chance that the stud center spacing is actually intended to be 8.000 mm ??? This is not intended as a slur against your measurement technique, but an honest question. (...) (27 years ago, 24-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) I like this system, but just want to comment that it's not a complete substitute for the part numbers that LEGO molds on the bottom of the bricks.
