  Re: Proposed Assembly Line Project

(...) Whoooohooo! That's me! I've been to Morgantown, West Virginia! (...) Okay, there's something off the bat I'm worried about, which is that you've built the track out of unobtanium, aka, monorail track. No one has any of it and it's more (...)   Re: Contributor Agreement License details - updated version

(...) In the case of model files I agree it is muddy however a model file means little without the parts to use it. If people wish to try to sell LDraw files without an attribution they are welcome to do so and you are probably right that LDraw.org (...) (19 years ago, 5-Feb-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

I finished this up about a month ago, but have been too busy to post it until now. (URL) Read about it (and see prototype pics) (URL) Again, comments are appreciated!   Re: NCLUG Show / LEGOPalooza at Morehead Planatarium in Chapel Hill

(...) I am a little confused on the tense used in the above paragraph. Since the event happened on the 3rd and 4th and the post was made on the 3rd (same month) should the tense have been past tense? Instead, the tense implied the event was (...) (19 years ago, 5-Feb-07, to lugnet.loc.us.nc, lugnet.org.us.nclug)

Re: Contributor Agreement License details - updated version

(...) Wow! In my opinion, that's an extremely poor interpretation of "derivative works". Consider the model file. It most likely contains no actual bits of the LDRAW library. It simply contains references to the parts in the library, by names like (...) (19 years ago, 5-Feb-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Oh yeah - note the Akermann steering, I was quite happy with that. Can pull a turning circle with a radius (centreline) 12 cm no problem :) -Iain (19 years ago, 5-Feb-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

  FLL at Science Central

This weekend, I was working on a FLL robot for the Science Central event in a couple weeks. That went well. It's not 100% reliable, because it's hard telling how many atoms are coming off the table, and sometimes the stain-resistant fabric just (...) (19 years ago, 5-Feb-07, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: ZiL 158 Bus

(...) With thanks to Tim David and William Howard I managed to get one of these built. Thanks to the masses of SNOT and some choices I had to make to do with available bricks the bus weighs a tonne... which is probably prototypical. (2 URLs) and the (...)
