  Re: Another style Garbage Truck

(...) Thanks. Good to hear. And, thanks again for the killer cab. (...) It was important for me to do it in dark green. I am going to work on another style cab in dark green as well. (...) I have until now avoided mirrors. My overall thought is they (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Another style Garbage Truck

(...) Jonathan, I think is a great design. But a few questions about the grey snot tile bricked building in the background... Is it snotted on all sides? Or is the snot just a facade on the one side? Is the building fairly solid or does it fall (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.town)

  Re: F-15E Strike Eagle

Ralph, Very nicely done (again)! You've used limited but helpful SNOT techniches and come away with a great model. The nose especially is just beautifully done, and I like the missile designs. And you've clearly come up wotha very smooth way to fold (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Another style Garbage Truck

(...) Hi Jonathan, I don't think the back is too high at all. And I think the curve looks awesome. You've really captured the shape of the rear perfectly. Overall this looks excellent. I especially love the greebles on it. They really look (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: F-15E Strike Eagle

(...) Ralph, I grew up very close to Langley AFB, home of Tactical Air Command and the first F-15 squadrons. Your design rekindles some sweet memories of watching eagles take off doing a 90 degree climb with afterburners. Every detail is perfect on (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) Grazie, certo che resto! :) sono di Vecchiano (Pisa). Il dramma è che abito in toscana ma i miei lego sono in sicilia!!   Another style Garbage Truck

Hello, This is my a truck I built over the weekend. It uses much of the the Mack style cab design developed by Tim Gould late last year.   Re: Post office

(...) Aaron, Nelson, and Tim: Thanks! It is exactly what I was going for: a simple corner building. It will be hidden behind an elevated subway later this week. I have always wanted an El but the drag is that it hides the buildings . . . Thanks (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.town)

A very nice little ship! Good to see you building aquazone again! I love the dual engines, and the sleek look of the craft. As to stealth, it isn't worth sacrificing the yellow ; ) Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan (URL) (19 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.aquazone, FTX)

Hello Eric! (...) The legs show a high flexiblity! Great! Why are there wheels on the feets? Are there wheels so that they feets legs do not slipping away? (...) Hi Dave, Thanks for the comments. I too was into building model kits, as well as building with LEGO. I'm not much of a painter, so the model kits rarely turned out quite the way I wanted them to, so actually building planes with LEGO was a (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.military)

  Neo-Mobile Command Unit - remake of 6676

I've gotten into taking the style of the recent ambulance/cement mixer style vehicles, and applying that style to old sets I am personally fond of. 6676 Mobile Command Unit was one of them. Here is my take on the set, remixed: (2 URLs) Hope you like (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Hey Wolf, Aaaah, warm fuzzy Classic Space vibes in abundance. Not only is it a wonderful model, but your photography and composition are the best emulation of Classic Space packaging I've ever seen. Space-tastic! Dave S. (19 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)
