  Re: Contributor Agreement License details

(...) As one of the CA's authors, my view on this is that you should state somewhere in your distribution of the image (i.e. on the web page hosting it, as a text file in a .zip, on the image itself, etc...) that the content were derived from the (...)   Re: Contributor Agreement License details

(...) I agree, clarification on rendered images is needed. If a rendering using LDraw parts is a derivative work, and derivative works are required to visibly display credit, that's a problem. It won't show up on my renders; I don't burn "Credit: (...) (19 years ago, 18-Jan-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Contributor Agreement License details

(...) Maybe it's just me, but if renderings are considered derivative works, we need to seriously step back and think long and hard about whether or not we are OK with that. I personally think that forcing renderings to have text on them (...) (19 years ago, 18-Jan-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: January SMART meeting

(...) Okay, I've got confirmation of the date. January 27th from 2 to 5pm, at Digipen as usual. Sorry for the delay, but at least it's our usual time and place.   Re: Contributor Agreement License details

(...) Maybe It's a stupid question but here goes ... Does this mean when you put a rendering (or rendered animation) on the Internet you must scribble 100+ names on the png / frames / end credits. If so I think that's very restricting, a simple (...) (19 years ago, 18-Jan-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

(...) Thanks. It looks really bad in Lynx. Apparently Lynx doesn't like div elements (at least not when they have style information attached). Lynx also doesn't know the meaning of the tfoot element, which is a little more surprising. --Travis (19 years ago, 17-Jan-07, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Proposed Assembly Line Project

(...) Bingo. :) I have a ton of old 4.5 V track I can loan out if people want to do it that way, but the new 9V track looks a lot nicer (there are twice as many cross ties on the 9V track than the old 4.5V).   LafLRC meeting

Anyone want to get together this weekend and try out Rock Crawlers? I'm thinking sometime on Sunday. If Bryan or Brian want to attend, we can make it earlier in the day. Otherwise, later so the Phillips can attend. Or both. Thoughts? Steve (19 years ago, 17-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)
