  Brickfetish - new version

Hi: To end the year I have just uploaded a completely new version of my Lego history site, Brick Fetish. The timeline now spans from 1891-1968. Even the older sections have been, in many cases, completely rewritten. The purpose of the project is to (...) (19 years ago, 31-Dec-06, to lugnet.general) !

  Re: 4-8-8-2 Cab Forward

(...) Thanks for the comments. Yes, I don't really like the gaps too much either, but i do like it more than some of the other techniques i have used and seen in the past. I like how the tender appears more round than using slopes and the like. For (...) (19 years ago, 30-Dec-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Finally online : Cafe De Unie

(...) I used mainly stacked plates and bricks... there's a bit of SNOT to get the Window row fall back ½ stud, the rows right of the window are jumper plates and plates, held by invisible technic bricks.   Re: 4-8-8-2 Cab Forward

(...) Since you did not do this by intention, there is no need for an excuse, Lewis. Thank you for your appreciation and the time you had to spend on over-working the pictures and uploading them again. I simply have the hope that others may follow (...)   Re: .mpd to .xml

Thanks, I gave BrickStore a try and I'm quite happy. I like the way it accounts for every part in a .mpd file when copies of sub-models are used. Only draw back is that you are limited on search options with the wanted list on BrickLink. I wish they (...) (19 years ago, 30-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Blacktron Crater Crawler & Pal

Hi all, I didn't think I had the parts, but I scrounged around and found the right elements to put together this Blacktron-I crater crawler (originally set 6826). This one goes well with my other two (blue and gray). Indeed, my daughter always has (...) (19 years ago, 30-Dec-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Finally online : Cafe De Unie

(...) I like this a lot. It's a great choice to build in Lego and you've pulled it off most admirably. I particularly like the way you've simulated the spiral using studs out tiles (unless my eyes decieve me). My only crits are that it's perhaps a (...) Hi Jan, I had asked this question of John Hansen a while back. His response follows. Note that this reduced my connection time in BricxCC from 17 seconds to 3 seconds. Hi David, For the motor block, did you choose "Unlimited" in the "Duration" field dropdown box? It defaults to 1 "Rotation". David Wallace "David List" <zerobuttons@gmail.com> wrote in message news:JB3A0n.2MH@lugnet.com... (...) block (...) (19 years ago, 30-Dec-06, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

How to implement continuous drive with NXT motors?

Can anyone here help me get continuous drive with NXT motors? I am using NXT-G now, while getting a feel for Mindstorms NXT. I experience that I am unable to get continuous drive with the motors when shifting from one block to another. The speed (...) (19 years ago, 30-Dec-06, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)
