  Re: First post, new MOC

Bonjour! Nice work on the landing module. I really like the functional landing gear. Had a look around your BS folder and your CN engine caught my eye. Always love a well-done Canadian MOC. The use of the slopes to create the livery colours looks (...) (19 years ago, 1-Dec-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) The best I can do is show how a person (and an ISD!) actually compares to the layout as a whole (the map isn't the most up-to-date version, but it's close enough to get the idea) (URL) 97' long and more than 23' wide. Nearly twice the (...) (19 years ago, 1-Dec-06, to lugnet.mediawatch)

  Re: Column for intersecting ribs

Hi Erik, while I appreciate the creativeness of that idea, I can't help but wonder why you wouldn't just start with "ribbed" columns (i.e. making the entire column cross-shaped to give the ribbed impression you find with a lot of buildings of that (...)   Re: First MOC after quite a while of frustration...

(...) Well, yes and no. You don't have to add as many greebles for a British engine, but it makes getting the shape right even more important to capture the character of the prototype and differentiate from other classes. Tim (19 years ago, 1-Dec-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
