Re: The Brick Testament - Saul and Jonathan Attack

(...) Yeah, I agree. It's simply that couldn't come up with very much specific points to comment on regarding the Lego constructions themselves this time -- they're pretty flawless, which is what I should have said, of course, it's only that I'm a (...)   What is everybody doing?

Gday everybody, Thought I might just sling out there a simple question: Why is it so quiet? What is everybody doing with themselves these days?   Re: MCP - Mecha City Project

(...) The main reason I choose black bricks and light blay tiles was the fact that you can get these parts from the Pick-a-brick at most Lego stores. Yes, dark blay would look better, but because the road section use a lot of parts, I figured it (...) (19 years ago, 30-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - Saul and Jonathan Attack

(...) Well, typo reports (and pointing out math mistakes) are just plain helpful. Those are always nice to get. I didn't think anything Martin wrote was particularly harsh, and it's always easier to take criticism from someone you know has an (...) (19 years ago, 30-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

In lugnet.build.mecha, Shaun Sullivan wrote: (snip!) (...) Exactly what we are looking for Shaun! I love seeing the various floors. That ladder added for "access" is a nice touch. And like Fradel said, the moon crater adds a bit of rubbleishness. (19 years ago, 28-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) Very nice, I like the detail and smoothness of the sphere. Excellent work. That’s pretty close to the size of what I’d love to see from LEGO (although theirs could be a bit smaller, to save cost), and it might be nice to have some rough (...) (...) Uh Dave??? What about my legs? Speaking of modules, just as a reminder, I will take 5 (30 by 30) and 3 (if you have them) or 1 (15 by 30) . Not only (...) Not only are you an outstanding artist; you are also quite humble in your response to criticism. I don't know that I could have answered that post without a touch of cynicism.   Re: Has Babylon Fallen?

I think there are two main issues, one technical and one social. The technical. The need to confirm all the postings was introduced at a time when there was a problem of people posting under other people's identities. Maybe then this heavy-handed (...) (19 years ago, 29-Nov-06, to lugnet.general)
