I've spent the past few days refining the design of my (URL) Technic clock>. I've managed to convert it to electric drive (using a 9V micro motor) which enabled me to get rid of the 2-lb. weight and string. This made it possible to further reduce (...) Ok so today I just tried again (did nothing differently) and it all worked fine - cool! Connected PC to NXT, then ran the test prog from Eclipse and I was driving the NXT around the floor 5 seconds later. I suspect my problem was something to do (...) (19 years ago, 19-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) I've been having difficulty with importing/exporting .dat files from SketchUp. In SketchUp, if you stand at the Origin; X is right, Y is forward, and Z is up. As I understand it, LDraw has negative y in the up direction, which is neither right nor left handed, but something else entirely. I don't know that it has a name. James (19 years ago, 19-Nov-06, to lugnet.cad.dev)

And just a quick heads up, we have only one capacitor left now, other 2 disappeared into rtl member hands today, so that's the last one left if someone wants to reserve it.
