CLSotW banners (was: Re: [ldraw.org] Update)

(...) Yup, got it -- it's in my inbox. I usually update the CLSotW banners page on Sunday at the same time as updating the CLSotW itself, but since you wrote "I'll have a 40x400 banner for my main site soon," and yours was the only submission that (...)   Using RCX with Lego Trains

I just picked up the Lego "Railway Express" set (#4561) last night. It comes with a "Toy Transformer" electrical plug (adaptor). The label on the plug says (North American version): Input: 120 VAC 60 Hz 0.12 A Output: 12 VAC 7 VA Would this work as (...) (27 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Lego in the Midlands

You're probably not missing anything yet :-) There are a couple of people in the Warwickshire area, but I don't think anyone's got organised in the UK yet. We're getting there, though. The Scottish & Southern Legofests show that the level of (...) (27 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

backgrounds logo image (was: Re: [ldraw.org] Update)

(...) Oh! I see what you mean now. You placed a copy of the flb-logo-small.gif image at the bottom of your page. Hrrm. Re-reading the Terms of Use on the (URL) I guess that point #1 is ambiguous... 1. These images are original artwork and are (...) (27 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: POV-RAY orange color

Strange. I rendered a brick colored 462 in POV and it came out silver. When I sandwiched the brick between a white (15) and a black (0) one, it came out orange. Maybe 462 does not always work... Scott R Dennett wrote in message (...) (27 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LEGOLAND trains

(...) At least year's 25th anniversary truck tour display, my wife spotted a Megablok 2x4 stuck on the large birthday cake model. I notified an employee- droid, who said, "... oh." and removed it after a bit. Well, I thought it was funny anyway. (...) (27 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)

  RE: r/c servos and firmware

(...) There are multiturn servos for winches in RC sailboats, but they are REALLY expensive. (...) Well don't give up too fast. They ARE useful for steering, or lifting, or grabbing because we can set the limits of motion. This makes things like (...) (27 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Loose or Clumps?

(...) I keep all my pieces in tubs according to size and color (1x1 gray/white/black/green , 1x1 red/yellow/blue, and so on) and all loose. Dunno if either way is better, but I like shoving my hand into a huge pile of loose bricks - slowly of (...) (27 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.storage)

  R2D2 head (was Re: Sebulba)

(...) I believe this is a result of the fact that the equipment at LEGO that applies patterns to pieces can only "paint" the pattern from one side (one "direction"). Since the R2D2 head is a "hemisphere", the pattern had to be applied from the top, (...) (27 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.starwars)
