 | | Question to parts authors about BFC CERTIFY [DAT]
|
|
As many parts authors are aware, LDView produces a warning if it finds more than one instance of the CERTIFY option among the BFC commands in one file. For example, the following will produce a warning on the second BFC command: 0 BFC CERTIFY CCW 1 (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev)

 | | Lunar Mobile Lounge

My newest Space creation is the Lunar Mobile Lounge which has actually been at several BayLUG meetings, even though I never posted about it anywhere until now. (...) It makes it difficult for anyone. This is precisely why I don't tend to post on some of the more specialized forums. I'll be the first to admit that my photography skills needs help, and that the lighting where I generally take photos isn't (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-06, to lugnet.general)

--snip-- (...) I still don't think it should be this way. It's not so hard to focus on what is good in an otherwise mediocre model. I've also noticed that MOCs have to also be photographed well these days to get much response... that makes it even (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-06, to lugnet.general)

(...) Allowing NXT-G to use arrays and clusters (aka structs) will be a nice addition to the language. Hopefully it is exposed in a way that does not require writing VIs in LabView. Hopefully they will allow for creating variables that are clusters (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Here are a few pics of my Northwest Artifact (Totem Pole). It is 6 feet tall, has a 7-1/2 foot wingspan and uses about 20,000 bricks and plates. The technology I developed to enable such massive (and thin) wings is called Plywood and Staples. The (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX) !!

Hello! (...) You are probably referring to Mocpages. And what happens there is, I guess, this: People come along a MOC, see it's (for example) Castle stuff, are Mecha kids themselves, think "blah, Castle, boring" and rate it 1/6. On Lugnet there (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-06, to lugnet.general)

(...) I think you hit it- our standards are so high that a MOC has to REALLY have some element(s) about it to get a response. I don't post much in terms of written feedback but I do use the highlight/spotlight function often. I figure it's giving (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-06, to lugnet.general)

Impressive! I have never even attempted a sculpture (I feel like an dinosaur on Lugnet now ; ) but this still looks very tricky... I love the sharpness of the line itself, and the figs at the base really make it. Thanks for sharing and God Bless, (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)
