  Re: Engine 5 Firehouse

(...) Thanks! I have been lucky to get to LLCA this past summer and was able to stock up on dark orange bricks. I had been there in 2002 or 2003 and bought quite a few then as well. It is one of my favorite colors and I use it quite a lot. Here are (...) (20 years ago, 26-Sep-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Pathologically huge ldraw files?

I'm trying to do some preliminary benchmarks on some software I'm writing that manipulates ldraw files. I was wondering if anyone could provide me with links to some extremely large dat or mpd files of actual lego models. It's easy enough to (...) (20 years ago, 26-Sep-06, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Building the Christmas Train 2006: Set 10173 - brief report & pics

(...) Starting yesterday, Shop@Home is selling the train in European countries. Change 'country' (top-left) in the S@H site, and check it out. On the details page they also mention a K101== nr., regarding a set with 9V (!) track and motor! Usually (...) (20 years ago, 26-Sep-06, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Photos from the event where three tons of lego brikcs where dumped in Oslo

(...) From what I understand they will be put on display from October 21st in the museum. Wish I lived in Oslo and could've participated. :( (20 years ago, 26-Sep-06, to lugnet.events, lugnet.build)

Re: New rubber band gun principle

(...) Could you perhaps zip up the instructions in one file, and put somewhere - it's a bit frustrating trying to download all the instruction pictures :-) (20 years ago, 26-Sep-06, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Photos from the event where three tons of lego brikcs where dumped in Oslo

(...) These are not my photos. It's a friend of mine who took those pictures. They should be available in higher resolution via the "All sizes" link above the pictures themselves. I don't think flickr has a function that allows you to download them (...) (20 years ago, 26-Sep-06, to lugnet.events, lugnet.build)

  Re: Canadian AFOL in Germany

(...) Dear Jean-Marc, I ran across the crosspost René has made at 1000steine: I live not really near Frankfurt, but it is not much more than 20 minutes car ride from here to the next train staition and from there (via cool ICE highspeed train) only (...)   Re: poll: what would be the best date for our next meeting

(...) You would have caught me :) (...) Real problem isn't how busy we are, but how spread out we are. Our members come from all places between San Diego and Bakersfield, that is why we are constantly trying to find some sort of middle ground. (...) (...)   Re: poll: what would be the best date for our next meeting

Heya Thomas, Many thanx for hosting this meeting, your work site iw a very nice spot. Sorry I missed most of you, I showed up about 30 minutes after you all left, darn work issues.   Building a Belville Castle

Nothing soft and pink with these Belville ladies. Here, they are laying tiles on the floor of the Chapel of Sokenniwell Castle. Why is it, that always the girls do the hard work in the Belville society? Simply, TLG forgot, and still forget, to give (...) (20 years ago, 26-Sep-06, to lugnet.belville)

  Re: The Hall of Justice

(...) The pictures don't show it very well, but the walkway *is* there - it's an overhang that circles the interior with the exception of over the back hangar door. The only part missing is the passthrough behind the statue. Of course, there's no (...) (20 years ago, 26-Sep-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Engine 5 Firehouse

Nice to see a MOC in one of the best 'new' lego colours. The sideways mounted bricks also compliment the building nicely. My only complaint would be the windows, they just don't do it for me for some reason... God Bless, Nathan Visit my brickshelf (...) (20 years ago, 26-Sep-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Pirate ship big vignette

WOW! Gorgeous. Now if only you could do a whole ship on this scale. I particularly like the centrality of the stairs and the hatch at the bottom (unsure of nautical term). The various crew and bystanders are also beautifully positioned. The shield (...) (20 years ago, 26-Sep-06, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Re: Space Needle

Now that's just beautiful! I love the seamless blend of building techniques and the slickness of the final model, the inhabited areas and supports also look good together (a failing of many MOCs). Very good work indeed. Thanks for sharing and God (...) (20 years ago, 26-Sep-06, to lugnet.org.us.sealug, FTX)
