Re: 5 years ago - The day we all came together - 9/11/01

(...) Yes, let's we all came together and pray to the Lord that he bless America. And let's don't care about if he bless any others or not. Selçuk (20 years ago, 13-Sep-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.people, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.year.2006, FTX)

Re: XXIII LEGOFEST: missing in action

(20 years ago, 13-Sep-06, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

  LEGO Adult Fans and Conventions

I think that Geoff has really got something there. Please allow me to take a stab at it. In my life it always seems to boil down to relationships, which inevitably means interpersonal communications. And that seems to always boil down to treating (...) (20 years ago, 13-Sep-06, to lugnet.events)

Details of the Bluetooth messaging protocol?

Can someone clarify the details of the Bluetooth messaging protocol? The documentation is quite confusing. (There is documentation for this in the Executable File Specificationn and in the Bluetooth develop kit document, as well as some in the NXT-G (...)   Re: BrickFest registration fees (was: LEGO Adult Fan Convention at Legoland California?)

(...) What seems strange to me is people with such conviction about this not having asked for the financial details before attending. Seems that's the best time to find out. ROSCO (20 years ago, 13-Sep-06, to lugnet.events, lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

  Re: The Supply Tender 'Ratsée'

(...) The figurehead? This ship doesn't really have one. But yes, the SNOT work is nice. (20 years ago, 13-Sep-06, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Re: BrickFest 2007 location

(...) If a proper venue could be aquired, such as the Indianapolis Convention Center, then there would be ample room for an enormous Brick Bazzar. A LEGO store is a great thing to have at Brickfest, but without one, the people selling on site could (...) (20 years ago, 13-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.loc.us.in.ind)

  Re: BrickFest 2007 location

(...) No disrespect to Frank, Jeramy, or anyone, but an active club is not, in my mind a prerequisite for a convention. The Washington Metropolitan Area has two active clubs, an LTC and a LUG. Neither plays an overly dominant role. I am not saying (...) (20 years ago, 13-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

  Re: Flash Write Cycles

(...) flash Are you sure of this John? It seems like the reset button would be for dire circumstances and would do something different than the firmware boot mode. (...) Thanks, Frank, and sorry about the mistake. I had no recollection of the fees, and was just going by (URL) exchange> - which I thought pertained to the registration, but since there was a fee in 2001, they must have meant that the space was (...)   Re: BrickFest registration fees (was: LEGO Adult Fan Convention at Legoland California?)

(...) I'm pretty sure BrickFest 2000 had a registration fee. I know that it was pointed out at one point that even in 2000, the facility was NOT free (I had been under that impression, and I know when conversation started about BF2001, perhaps even (...)
