Re: SNOT SHIP - T93 Solaris

(...) This rocks, I am blown away. Gray and blay is thoughtfully mixed, and that looks really good. The "nose" has an interesting ducklike shape, giving this SHIP an unique profile. And a microscale SHIP, did you calculate how long it is for a (...) (20 years ago, 26-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: Where are the Belville lovers..?

Re: SNOT SHIP - T93 Solaris

Stuff I like: (3 URLs) I'm not so keen on the saucer bit up front - I think a flatter, more angular head would have been better. Also, missiles. I'm a sucker for missiles. Apart from those minor nitpicks it's quite stunning. I'll be borrowing bits (...) (20 years ago, 26-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Very impressive. And it has a very professional look, right out of a sci-fi movie. Andreas (20 years ago, 26-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Not at BrickFest after all

I'm not at BrickFest.. I was wondering if I could participate in the Lego store shopping event by phone, since I did register and all. Just didn't quite make it there. We planned to drive the truck with MOCs in the back from Milwaukee to BrickFest, (...) (20 years ago, 26-Aug-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

NXT - anyone sighted these in stores?

I was at Robocup Junior today (it's not often you see hundreds of RCXs in one room!). Anyhow, one of the sponsors was Education Experience (who supply Lego to schools) who had a table with a NXT on display, although they didn't let you get hands-on (...)   Re: Ease up on marking folders Avatar

Pardon, Rene, but I actually have an answer to the original question. (...) I spoke with Kevin Loch at BF today, and he stated he had not seen this thread yet.   Re: NXT->PC with Python

I've been conjuring up some Python bindings around fantom. Would like to bypass the driver and use USB/BT directly (esp. for unix) but no luck so far. If anyone wants to contribute to this or get access to what I have so far please respond. -dbm (...) (20 years ago, 26-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  SNOT SHIP - T93 Solaris

This SHIP started in 2002 as an experiment to build a click-hinge based cylinder, and eventually became a composite of various SNOT and non-standard building techniques.
