  Re: Local snack-bar

Hello Robert, It's a nice model, with a good level of detail for the scale you've chosen. I would consider to make the bench besides the back door six studs long, and model its shape with brown grill tiles, in order to mimic the very narrow beams (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jul-06, to lugnet.town)

Re: The Brick Testament - The Teachings of Jesus

--SNIP== (...) Not quite true. You could fit two minifigs in a car very slightly smaller than six wide (big maybe 5.5 wide, more easy 5.8 wide) but for all practical purposes six wide is the smallest. Tim (20 years ago, 20-Jul-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) Tim, even at 6' that proportional waist size would make John Candy look like an Olsen twin. But you're right, there's no reason to even pretend you can truly build in minifig 'scale.'   Re: Local snack-bar

What a cute building! I think that's a great choice of prototype, Robert - small, characterful, and a few non-rectangular features to make it an interesting challenge to build - and you've really done a good job of catching the character. I (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jul-06, to lugnet.town)

  The "Caped" Penguin

  The Un-Vigs

I was thinking about the whole concept of vignettes, and, as much as I like them, I felt the need to be contrary ;). So I made two vigs of the most boring sort possible, and while that is true, they are also still pretty funny. Behold! The Un-Vigs! (...)
