  LEGO Imagination Days

I am putting out the call for Denver AFOLs. I have just received notice that the TLC has requested our presence at the Kazoo and Company Toy Store for this event. If you have a Town creation that you would like to display at this event, please (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.loc.us.co, lugnet.loc.us.co.cos, lugnet.loc.us.co.den, FTX)

Re: Electric Compressor for Pneumatic Engines

(...) Tried it. You are right, it does produce a lot of air, but without any pressure, which seems to be essential for pneumatic engine. (20 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Three metres long heavy beam transport

(...) I remember seeing a model like that in the video clip from when you were interviewed on Dutch TV. That is amazing! It is even better to see it again. Are you going to bring any of your models to BrickFest this year or any year in the future? (20 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Ciao Vendo due 4511 High Speed Train a 79 euro cad. e vendo una gru 7905 a 59. I set sono nuovi mai aperti, mi servivano per un progetto, ma alla fine non mi servono più. Chi fosse interessato mi contatti pure. Ciao Mauro (20 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.org.it.itlug.market)

Re: thoughts on gbc module reliability

(...) If I understand what you mean, yes, you can make an arrangement of modules that satisfys the GBC spec input/output as a whol, even though they don't individually. That's fine (like Rafe's "supermodule", for instance). But then the individual (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Got my NXT on Wednesday

(...) A copy of the MyBlock is not stored with the file that uses it. I've had several programs in NXT-G wind up broken because of changes to the MyBlock VIs they used. You definitely need to be very careful with MyBlocks. John Hansen (20 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Re: Steampunk Dirigible: The Leslie Anne Levine

(...) I consider steampunk to be nothing more than straight-up witchcraft voodoo, so I was surprised to find that I like this. As always with your MOCs, it's the attention to fine detail that makes this - the log bricks in the tail for a feathered (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Re: Kind of a streamliner

(...) Andreas, I'm not big into trains (aside from the traditional Christmas time around the tree one) but I really like the steamlining on this, I'd even call it art deco like. Thanks, George (20 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Program to Manually Run Motors using NXT-Brick's Buttons

ScreenShot: (2 URLs) pretty self explanatory. It even shows three lines of help when you run it. I'm tempted to alter it to have two speeds. Sometimes the current speed is too fast. -S (20 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Re: Got my NXT on Wednesday

(...) Well, they already have a boolean data type. If we have arrays, arrays of booleans doesn't seem like much of a stretch. I'm not asking for bit-wise Ands and Ors, Shirts or Rolls here ;). (but isn't something like 50% of their mindstorms (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Re: Memory - Where did it go?

(...) I'm not certain, but I think the file size will be basically the same for each resample option since the result is an 8k 8 bit mono file. There may be slight differences. The higher quality options (in quality order from top to bottom) may be (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Vikings vs Castle?

Hi Ben, (...) I always wondered why Ninja is a subgroup of Castle, too. But from what I know, changes in the Newsgroup tree and re-sorting grown groups is a potential No-No from the technical and organizational point of view. Probably, to change (...)   Re: OT - One red paperclip

But it is small town Saskatchewan... In some similar communities there the town will sell you a property if you just pay off the taxes owing on it. It probably has a value of <$20k.   Re: Vikings vs Castle?

(...) I agree that Vikings are their own theme. But Ninja is also it's own independant theme and not a subgroup of Castle. It was marketed in the catalogs with the Ninja logo while Dark Forest and Fright Knights were marketed under the Castle (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.vikings, lugnet.castle)

Re: Seeking Lugnet community help for a freeware computer game

(...) Excellent. I use that to present stuff occasionally too. Its not bad at all. Have you considered using LPub, which can do the gruntwork for you? Also, using LGEO which can make things look a bit nicer, and MEGAPov which gives the Lego a more (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.cad, lugnet.gaming)
