Re: Addressing concerns about Outsourcing LEGO Production

(...) Mexico is a country where people working an assembly line, such as many "maquiladoras" found in the Northern States that border the US, make about the hourly wage of a person in the States (in a similar position), but in a day. So instead of (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jul-06, to lugnet.lego)

Re: LEGO® Bandit gets 13 months in prison

Well there are two other scams/problems I have heard of 1) Some guys wandering out of the warehouse with Star Destroyers I think it as, and reselling them, but I can't find any original info on that anymore, was about a year or so ago. Employees (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jul-06, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Got my NXT on Wednesday

(...) Yep, I agree. It why one of the first things I did was write a MyBlock that would use file memory to hold and manage a 1-d array. Worked quite well, but it was slow, and I'm not sure what the ultimate read-write limits are on the flash memory (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jul-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Re: LEGO® Bandit gets 13 months in prison

(...) Wow, this is really interesting. Many AFOLs could have these resold sets at home, especially if they were resold through eBay. Has there ever been a Lego-related crime on such scale? I don't recall ever seeing one. -Shiri (20 years ago, 9-Jul-06, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Visiting the East Coast

(...) Yay Wamalug! I hope I can make it. Like I told you by email, Fradel, I would love to come and will try to arrange the schedule so as to fit this in. (In Virginia I'm dependent on my family members who I'm traveling with.) More details about (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jul-06, to lugnet.people, lugnet.org.us.wamalug, FTX)

Re: Got my NXT on Wednesday

(...) All I'm asking for is fixed-size, global, 1-d arrays of numbers. I'd prefer floats or ints, but just ints (32 bit preferrably) would be fine. Arrays of Bits would be handy, too. There are many times when I'd like to make a 2D scan of an areas (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jul-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

  LEGO Loco Networking?

Has anyone ever got the LEGO Loco game to work with networking? My son loves the game, and was so excited to try using it across 2 computers, but although I have tried to do it myself, searched the internet for info on it, searched Lugnet, I can't (...)
