Nuno, A "named beam" is (usually) a white 1x6 or 1x8 brick with writing on it. Common ones are 1x8 bricks with "GARAGE" or "ESSO SERVICE" writing on one side, or a 1x6 brick with "HOTEL" or "CAFE" writing on one side. Did that #210 set have a brick (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jun-06, to lugnet.loc.pt)

My current WW2 German minifigs consist of a the Imperial Officer from the Classic Star Wars set. (URL) It works fine, but I'm having a heck of a time finding/creating my WW2 US minifigs.
