  Re: Manga styled street cleaner

(...) Hi Tim, I like this a lot. I think it could easily be twaeked for a city or town setting as well. Years ago, I think in 1998 or 1999, my first MOC after coming out of my dark ages was a street sweeper: (URL) It has been on my list of MOC's to (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jun-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Aoyama

Hello, an actual MOC this time. Presenting, the Confederate Ship Aoyama: (2 URLs) (The photographs are somewhat poor, I didn't notice I had the camera set to "landscape") Any feedback appreciated, Derek (20 years ago, 8-Jun-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

Re: Train MOCs search at LEGO Factory-- Favourites

(...) I don't see a huge improvement. If you look, all the galleries have 12 pages. They each show the most recent 200 entries in the category. I don't know what the churn rate is, but it might be worth keeping an eye on your one that's just shown (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jun-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Request for LEGO Digital Designer Newsgroup

(...) I support this, both from a LDraw parts admin standpoint and also on behalf of the LDD developers with whom I have established contact. Chris (20 years ago, 8-Jun-06, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.admin.suggestions)

Re: Request for LEGO Digital Designer Newsgroup

(...) Sounds reasonable. I support the request. /Tore (20 years ago, 8-Jun-06, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.admin.suggestions)

  Manga styled street cleaner

Although I wasn't intending to do so at first I mucked around with the pictured rear end. As suggested by Aaron Sneary this is a street cleaner model. I've also taken Didier's suggestion into account for the presentation. (2 URLs) Flickr> (URL) BS (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jun-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

Re: American LEGO culture different than German LEGO culture?

(...) Thanks Gary! It is always a joy to read some content out of an experts mind like your's! I think you have shows how completely crazy the argumentation of this "Clotaire Rapaille" is. None of the arguments seems to be based on facts but all of (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jun-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.de, FTX)

Re: Request for LEGO Digital Designer Newsgroup

(...) I second the request. with LDD supporting LDraw it is likely that we get more posts on LDD issues by afols and I'd rather see them in a fine seperate subgroup. w. LDraw.org Webmaster (20 years ago, 8-Jun-06, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.admin.suggestions)

Re: Two more Factory model... hoppers

(...) Eric, Can you check with your LF contacts (or maybe you already know) what the shelf life is of something uploaded but not submitted to the gallery? For example, when I click on the check price button in LDD it uploads my model and brings me (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jun-06, to lugnet.trains)

Train MOCs search at LEGO Factory-- Favourites

I was able to go to the LEGO Factory web page and select the "Search Creations, By model category: Trains". This (URL) 12 pages of trains: 18 MOCs per page. I've found that clicking on the thumbnail image of the MOC brings up a pop-up window that (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jun-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Curator Highlight: Diorama Level 034 by Tac

(...) This one appeared last night and I like it even more than the above. Tac is a superb builder. (URL) Tim (20 years ago, 8-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New Custom Molded MODERN Minifig Weapons from BrickArms

(...) No problem with that..:-) (...) What about this one then. Similar in function to your assault carbine, with much more power (7.62mm, can take your arm of in close combat). And for your convenience, it has also a folded stock version. If you (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: Spider Mech type A - Anti-aircraft model

--SNIP-- (...) I think I caught two of the missing parts in my updated instructions but not the tear... I have a bad habit of pretending that 1x2 technic bricks already have the half-pins ;) I believe that the gun is unbuildable as is since the two (...)   Re: Spider Mech type A - Anti-aircraft model

(...) No worries...I've made a couple of changes (1x3 curved bricks in dark red, 1x1 slopes in red, 1x2 tiles on feet in red) due to part limitations in my small spares collection, and am about to remove the yellow from the turrret as it doesn't fit (...)   Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto21 page update

Well, enough time has pass that most people weighed in on the idea of the new rule addition suggestion. as is typical with rtlToronto, those few who spoke up, dont have a strong opinion either way.
