  RIS 2.0 Ideas

Greetings, Not that the current RCX is not good but if I had a choice I would like to see an entirely new design. I would like to it to be modular. The CPU should be about half the size of the current RCX with expansion ports (not sensor or motor (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: 6419 Paradisa Question

(...) Yes, those Paradisa sets were overlooked by a lot of AFOLs. Maybe the pink pieces were a turnoff. I did manage to buy a few. My favorite is that dark pink (magenta) colored oval shaped plastic case set, a freestyle set I believe. I picked up (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Scale of figures

OK, that confirms my suspicions. I'm trying to build a scale model of my hopefully soon-to-be-built house. The Technics men are about the right size for the model, but I wanted some women as well. Are there any children at the Belville scale ? (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: General box #5 Canada tour

Martin, I put James in just because you were getting it first, I'm not sure yet if he's got anyone signed up for it or not, I thought he was only supposed to be gone for around a week, maybe he's a little late in getting back. Mail me when you are (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: LegoCAD

(...) Yes... I believe Jon Van did the RCX and the touch and light sensors (really well done). I have them in my LDraw parts directory anyway. Check the Lugnet.cad.dat archive for posting of these and other windstorms parts if they haven't been (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: "Crazy Car"

(...) I like how you did the windshield! I would never in a thousand years have thought of using that piece in such a way! :) The rest of the car is pretty neat, too. :) Jeff (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Give me strength...

Blimey! How did you build up a collection like that???? You must have spent a fortune on it. *envy* The only reason I got 5 bricks was because I had a lucky break back in the 18th century.   Re: Scale of figures

(...) They are about the same height, but the most important difference for me is that the Belville figures' butts are too wide to fit in the technic chairs. The Belville ladies really wanted to drive around the helicopters and dune buggies. /Eric (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
