(...) I like chrome too, but as mentioned on here many times before - each chrome element requires it's own unique mold. I'd rather see the new metallic silver available across a much wider range of parts than to have chrome available on only a (...) (20 years ago, 14-Apr-06, to lugnet.color, FTX)

the furniture came first, the v-pod encouraged by fellow lug member, jude beaudin. i argued that vignettes should have minifigs (yuck!) and he argued not. so my first intro to the v-pod.
