Re: 10027 is now sold in blay.... :-(

(...) Hi Tim, maybe it is good. But I hated to find out I had spent 75 Eur (=90$US) on a nearly useless set. LEGO should have changed the ©2003 to ©2006 or maybe they could have added a 2cent sticker on the box like "Contains new cool colors!". A (...) (20 years ago, 21-Mar-06, to lugnet.color)

(...) At the very least it means that there is a new run of 10027 which is good. Tim (20 years ago, 21-Mar-06, to lugnet.color)

10027 is now sold in blay.... :-(

Hi all, just a small update from the color frontier: A 10027 set which I boght last weekend has been full with blay parts. A 1000steine member found a blay version of Santa Fe engine 10020! ***...*** The level crossing 10128 appeared in a mixture of (...) (20 years ago, 21-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.color)

  Re: Space Creations

(...) On second thoughts, maybe you shouldn't post it on CSF. I'm sorry for suggesting it Joe. No newbie deserves that. Keep building, and don't worry about getting your theme recognised. It'll happen if it happens, if not, meh. As long as {you're} (...) (20 years ago, 21-Mar-06, to lugnet.space)

Re: Thoughts on the UN "Racist" poster?

(...) Dejure it's out of copyright/trademark, true, but defacto it will be LEGO that will be influenced the most by any ill will engendered. Most people's first thought, I would expect, would be "hey those are legos" (with some small subset thinking (...) (20 years ago, 21-Mar-06, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

Re: A castle fan's Train plan

(...) Certainly a tried and true technique but doesn't easily make stairs that go into the carriage (the hard bit). There are numerous other parts that are handy, one notable one being the 1x2 plate with rail (part 32028) but it all depends on how (...) (20 years ago, 21-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: A castle fan's Train plan

(...) Here's my suggestion for stairs. Black or grey these: (URL) SNOT'ed so the open top points out. Either a single vertical row creating an L, or horizonatal pairs for a shape. Remember that other than photos and show-n-tells, few people are (...) (20 years ago, 21-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Spedizione Legoland....

Re: Possible idea for The LEGO Company

(...) Holy moley! Where did you see these? In Canadialand? Which province? And which dollar store (since there are so many variations)? And do you really spell it "Doller" up there? Is that like "humour"? Any idea of a piece-count in the bags? Do (...) (20 years ago, 21-Mar-06, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, FTX)

Possible idea for The LEGO Company

Recently on a visit to the local Doller Store, I happened across this in the aisle-- (URL) Yep--MegaBlok packages containing basic bricks, all for a buck. I don't know if TLC would be at all interested in offering similar packages, but I would (...) (20 years ago, 21-Mar-06, to lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)
