Re: Shop At Home feedback requested.

(...) Railway stations... Don't we have 4554 and 4513 etc. already? Re-release 4554 and keep 4513 alive and we have two great choices. Saves on R&D too. ;) Strip malls or plazas would be great. (...)   Sometimes I feel out of touch...

I was at the Wal last night and found a new set called the 8283 Telehandler, a cool looking fork truck. I can't believe I didn't know about this cool set. I suspect I've been missing out on all the cool sets the past five years because I never see (...) (20 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) snip All very interesting but mostly the landmark buildings. Specially if they are around the same scale as the Statue of Liberty that was available a while ago. However, these do not interest me that greatly because they will probably only be (...) (20 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.lego.direct, FTX)

  Re: Motor Analysis

(...) I wouldn't go too far in this exercise of matching motors. Even if you were to able to get two perfectly matched motors on your robot, chances are it will still not go perfectly straight due to many other factors. Notably, if you have a (...) (20 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: A Steamer with a Boiler that actually is Round

(...) This is a very nice effort, Martin! I would love to see it in real life!   Re: Cybermaster Touch questions

(...) My CM sensors are really screwed up, they don't read consistently. I suspect my batch were manufactured incorrectly. Calum (20 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Cybermaster Touch questions

Has anyone had "erratic" reading when multiplexing Cybermaster sensors? I am finding that with the SAME 3 sensors on the same wire, will change in "value" when I use different RCXen. THEN, when I put them back to the original RCX I get different (...) (20 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: event driven vs. timing driven code...

(...) Yep Chris - it is a basic line follower type routine, with the only sneaky thing being that it always looks for the light staying the same or getting brighter (as it gets closer). If it looses the light in its FOV then it will reset an go back (...) (20 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) I use the LEGO speedometer (5206) to find matching motors for my robotics classes. Works reasonably well. Fast and easy. Regards, Jutta Rossmaier (20 years ago, 19-Feb-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Replacement Wire
