Re: i admit i was wrong

(...) I will do the following as of right now. 1. Stop asking for parts, help with parts, models, help with models and related questions (e.g. is this part in ldraw questions). 2.   Re: why is the roadsign round with no throughoufare sign called 7284?

(...) Um... Yes? If a part has a four-digit number like that, then that *should* be the correct TLG number. You should know that by now. Same thing for 3xxxx, 7xxxx, 8xxxx numbers. 3-digit numbers, and ones with "P" or "C" or alpha-suffixes, are the (...) (25 years ago, 13-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

FOTW - 5988 for $49.99 @ Toysrus in San Mateo, CA

I stopped by a Toys R Us (the one just off 92 in San Mateo, for those in the SF Bay Area) after work. I was amazed to find they had a bunch of 5988s (Pharaoh's Forbidden Ruins) on sale for $49.99. Considering that this set's MSRP is 79.99, I thought (...) (25 years ago, 13-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Spare Parts Service - How it works

What happens when you phone up your local LEGO branch and ask for a replacement LEGO piece?   Re: Myrmidon Class Starfighter

How understated, John. I would say it is an outstanding model with a gorgeous presentation. The space scene is a stunner. Any post-processing there, or is that direct POV output? -- Terry K -- (...)   Re: models

(...) Ouch! Don't bother! The resulting gif images will likely be *larger* than a jpg, and you won't even have true color. -- Terry K -- (25 years ago, 13-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: i admit i was wrong

(...) Tamy, I agree, and I think this is becoming a serious problem. In fact, I just learned from Joshua Delahunty tonight via a private email that he has stopped reading this group because of Jonathan. This is a quote -- with permission: JD> [...] (...)   catalog image maps

Would anyone be interested in creating image maps for the catalog scans? Then you could click on a set in the catalog image and hyperlink directly to the set page! I think there are some handy tools for creating maps, but I can't remember (...) (25 years ago, 13-Aug-99, to lugnet.publish)

I've discovered that with the rcx too, when tested on a battery tester, they say almost new, but they can barely move a motor. John R. Galloway, Jr. wrote in message ... (...) (25 years ago, 13-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)
