Now all we need to do is figure out hwo to add motors and get a couple of RCX's on board, and you too can have a lego aibo... It looks good eric. What peices are you using at the ankle joints?   Change of email address

Merry Christmas to everyone out there who knows what the holes in the beams are for ;) And everyone else too of course. Can't figure out how to change lugnet's idea of my email address yet, but barnes at sensors will cease to be in a few weeks time. (...) (20 years ago, 19-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

Re: Can't See The Forest For The Trees?

(...) Thanks for the kind words, Ondrew. The rods I used were purchased at a hobby store and were manufactured by K&S Engineering Chicago, IL. They are 1/8" diameter. But don't take my word for it-- do as I did and take a few 2x2 round bricks to ye (...) (20 years ago, 19-Dec-05, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.town, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Poor, poor Santa (nobody beats the wizz)

(...) These had me laughing the other day. I really like these two. The vig where the sled gets shot down reminds me of last nights Simpsons episode. These are quite funny and really well built. Great work, Wizz. Jonathan (20 years ago, 19-Dec-05, to lugnet.fun.holiday, FTX)

Poor, poor Santa (nobody beats the wizz)

Holiday greetings to everyone. I'm just back from a monthlong trip to India and now catching up on all the new MOCs I missed while away from the internet. I came across these MOCs on (URL) Golden Shpleem> and thought they were great. I assumed (...) (20 years ago, 19-Dec-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.town, FTX) !!

(...) Nooo, non prenderlo fuori dall'Europa, in dogana non passerebbe certo ino$$€rvato... Se ti interessa qui c'è un negozio che ne ha uno a 219 euro (parrebbe in svendita, non so quanto costi normalmente) Ciao Gianluca "gianpoldo" Morelli (20 years ago, 19-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug.market)

  Re: Roberts-Sophie Mech-off

(...) For some reason my Firefox wouldn't open it. I tried the link in IE and it worked ok. But I see cutting and pasting "(URL) into the address bar works ok in Firefox also. Give some of these things a shot Danny. (20 years ago, 19-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Roberts-Sophie Mech-off

(...) Actually, at the risk of getting myself saddled with worse, I've already done that. The Zephyr has a pair of gearboxes for a waist, and I'd probably do this one the same way.   Re: Roberts-Sophie Mech-off

I want to volunteer my services as a judge, either side, I don't care. Hell I'll be a solitary judge if both parties agree to it. I feel I know both Soren and Eric fairly well and I think they both could count on me to be fair. However, I think a (...)   Re: Roberts-Sophie Mech-off
