  Re: LEGO brickpedia options

Hi Ben, (...) I hope you don't mind if I join in this conversation. As you can probably imagine, this is a topic to which I've given a lot of thought over the last couple of years. :) A quick bit of background on the Brickopedia that appears in my (...)   Re: How much weight can a LEGO chassis carry around?

Those master RCX groups could always have their motor outputs setup to perform the act of pushing the on buttons on the other RCXs. The alternative would be a large mechanical switch mechanism made that could be operated, pushing levers down to (...) (20 years ago, 11-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Nwe MOC: Goliath

The jointed feet really show the effectiveness of the concept: (URL) They seem to have forced the ankle joint halfway up the calf, which is a little weird, from a humanoid standpoint, but works for a mech.   Re: Nwe MOC: Goliath

(...) Hey, this is interesting - it caught my eye on Brickshelf. I imagine that, being "only" 19 inches tall and loaded with worm gears, this model is pretty stable. The answer to the question "How much weight can a LEGO chassis carry around?" has got to be "Infinite" (assuming that you have infinite amounts of Lego as some people here appear to have!). How's this for a thought experiment: Build a perfectly (...) (20 years ago, 11-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics)
