Re: How much weight can a LEGO chassis carry around?

Dan, I remember seeing this robot. I didn't remember that you built it, but its impressive. OT Comment: Can't use $ony products anymore though I think you underestimate the ability of Lego for strength. Construction techniques make it possible to (...)   Re: Kuranda Scenic Railway

(...) Born and bred mate. Went on that train when I was very young (maybe 5 years old). I remember the waterfall very well but not the rolling stock I'm afraid ;) (...) It's dark red. The model is more a concept piece at the moment. Were I to build (...) (20 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

  Anyone got their ears on?

This forum went silent. Don't recall any discussion on Mike Psiaki's F4U Corsair: (URL) like a worthy addition, right up there with Mattias and Bryce. Speaking of Bryce, anyone talk with him lately? I see that he's still updating his Brickshelf (...) (20 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: New Mecha: Talon

Ooh - snakes head? that would be an interesting mecha, maybe you could still pursue building one with that goal in mind. Maybe taking on board some of Bryce's techniques with the Rack might get the right look for a snake... I know exactly how (...) (20 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: How much weight can a LEGO chassis carry around?

Apologies if this double-posts, Yahoo is in a mood. I solved your problem by purchasing the lightest laptop I could find, a Sony ultralight (PGC 161L, $800 on ebay). It's a hair over 2 lbs, and I've used it on a couple projects: (URL) has a built-in (...) (20 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics)

How is this made? (St. Pauls)

Hi all, I just discovered following pic on brickshelf: (2 URLs) Could anyone tell me how to render this way? BTRW: Great mini-MOC and a great rendering! Thanks and kind regards, Holger (URL) (20 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

  Re: Natali Lego

Re: Peladofigphobia

Having seen the shear amount of creativity that is being put in to MOC's, I consider these to be a form of art. So, as long as the baldness is fuctional, I have no problem with it :-) With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (20 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: LEGO brickpedia options

(...) Actually, Brand Retail gave me the idea and I taped those bricks on the boxes. This is how the stores keep track of what is in all those uniform brown Pick-A-Brick boxes. Imagine that. I taught the master builders something. Doug (20 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Albatross Heavy Lifter Aircraft

(...) Hey Dave, Thanks for the comments, it was a challenge to get the general angles of the cockpit body, wings and back/top of the craft to all work together, but it all somehow clicked in the end. Cheers! ~ Paul. (URL) (20 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Albatross Heavy Lifter Aircraft

(...) Kenn, Thanks for your comments, I clearly should have consulted you on the name as you have just rattled off much better and relative ones. ;-) Originally I had the wings much larger, but found that snot style wings look plain silly.   Re: Supertrain
