Re: Talking Point: robot score and colour of blocks

(...) I see your point. As written the rule is not clear the blocks need to come from different robots. Saying "number of different blocks" doesn't work because two blocks, even of the same colour, are different blocks. Derek (20 years ago, 8-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Eek, but then you can see {inside} his head to where his brains should be! While bald solid-studded minifig heads are bad enough, those poor souls who lost their brains through the holes in the tops of their heads are pitiable. Chris (...) (20 years ago, 8-Dec-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Idea for a competition

Nice! I specially like the ball trading part. I wanted bots to modify each other's IDs so they could label them, in their own way, as scammers. However, it gets complicated, and it loses some of the fun because of it. I visited the link on some (...) (20 years ago, 8-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Talking Point: robot score and colour of blocks

Calum i was thinking of the system we will be using to generate a final score, and was wondering if it was made clear on the rule page, that the score is based on DIFFERENT COLOUR blocks that you have collected. ----snip from rules page---- Number (...)   Re: Help needed connecting tracks

(...) Not related to the tracks but just thought I'd let you know that if you add a "+FN" to the command prompt box in POVray it will generate your images in the smaller and more web friendly (in many ways) PNG format. Tim (20 years ago, 8-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad)

  S1253 Shell Car transporter $3.99 @ S@H

I really didn't mind paying $9.99 for a few of these a couple of years ago. I just noticed they are now marked down to $3.99. (URL) A good deal IMO. Jonathan (20 years ago, 8-Dec-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Idea for a competition

Ignacio, That is an interesting concept. What happens if a robot runs out of 'things' to trade? Are there rules on when or why a robot would trade? or be forced to trade?
