Re: Help me convert this train program to use events (NQC)

(...) (URL) (...) I bought some alligator clips to use with some 24-guage wire. I'll become impure just this once, but I won't resort to willful LEGO destruction. :) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc, FTX)

Re: New Part: 41530 Propellor 8 Blade 5 Diameter  [DAT]

Ok, here is the dat file reposted, one more time. It doesn't include any of your suggestions yet. I will work on that. Thanks for the feedback. I'll look at the model again and see if I can rig it up with sub-parts. I was worried that sub-parts will (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: New Mecha: The Tribunal

Hi all, I feel kind of cheeky, posting to the thread without a word on the mecha itself. It has an awesome look about it - and I realy have a thing for tripods - this one really does live up to the image. Its interesting having real stats as well (...)   Talking point : Re: Thoughts about the Target thief

(...) I can see my use of "Swanberg" as a verb. Wow, you really screwed up that robot Dave. Way to pull a swanberg. or My im missing a 2x4 red brick, janey did you swanberg it at the last show? or RTL 23 (autonomous shopping) - rule 3, your robot (...)   Re: What I think should happen to Mindstorms.

What I am suggesting is either: A new RIS 3.0 with new constructopedia and parts but same electronics. And an upgrade kit (like the one that went from the 1.0 to the 1.5) containg the new parts and constructopedia. OR A new kit with new parts and (...)   Re: Adventurer's Train Update

(...) <snip> Way to capture the original style of the adventurers. I love the colapsable wing idea. The body is simple and not overdone, which suits the compactness required of this plane. An A1 job on this one Aaron (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Thoughts about the Target thief

(...) In fact, I have seen no evidence anywhere that Mr Swanberg ever played with LEGO at all, so even that similarity may be tenuous. ROSCO (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

Re: Thoughts about the Target thief

(...) This isn't my experience. Most people who know that I build with LEGO think it is cool. Most people I met at shows think it is cool. Only a few think I'm neddlessly obsessed, and they seem socially maladjusted anyway. -Lenyu (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

  Re: Design

If it is a fairly large or complex problem I take what I consider will be the hardest part and design it first; if this is something mechanical (or even code) I spend a lot of time working on it, researching the type of engineering field that (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Thoughts about the Target thief

(...) So that makes this kind of prejudice ok then does it? You can accept being associated with Swanberg's criminal behaviour if you want, but I for one will not. The car example, because it's something that nearly everyone does, is pertinent (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)
