  Re: Gip Metro

(...) Fantastic job on the comic, Felix! I laughed so hard my strawberry-mango lo-carb protein drink came out my nose, which really made a mess of my Banana Republic Angel Blue Gradient Stripe shirt. Gip's ship is cool, and I love your characters. (...) (20 years ago, 25-Nov-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  My first mecha

Hi, everyone! I'm normally all about architecture, sculpture, and whatnot, and I've never built any serious sci-fi. I was recently commissioned by a woman to build a model of a mech called "Viktor Hannan" for her brother. He's a total Mech nut, and (...)   Re: I want LEGOLD

They have definately made bricks and figs in silver before. I have seen them in LEGO brand shops (on chains as jewellery) A friend has a silver modulex brick on a chain too :) not sure if they have ever done the same in gold (20 years ago, 25-Nov-05, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Adaptor(s)

(...) I have a mini-tripod that I take backpacking (about $9 US) that has three folding 4" long legs and a double ball-socket head (tripod to ball-socket, ball-socket to 2nd ball-socket via a short 1" long connector, with the pin- &-screw mounting (...)   Re: Adaptor(s)

(...) I'm not sure I understand - what would that gain you? Since the standard LEGO sensors have that circuitry built in, and if you put it in a seperate unit all you're doing is moving the circuitry from the sensor itself to a second enclosure. (...)   Re: Adaptor(s)

(...) I built an adapter for my digital pocket camera using a 6x8 plate with 2x2 tiles glued to it. I drilled a 1/4 inch hole at the right place and put a screw up through it an into the mounting hole of the camera. The plate can get stuck on (...)   Re: Legofest di Crema

(20 years ago, 25-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

  Re: Adaptor(s)

I would love a way to mount other mCUs, as the 3 RCXs, and batteries to support them to get some of the same functionality can be very heavy and bulky. I agree with a standard electrical connector - I actually had an idea for a more advanced Lego (...) (20 years ago, 25-Nov-05, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

  QR Citytrain

I'm not much of a train builder, but no Brisbane Lego fan is quite complete until they've at least had a stab at one of these, so here I go. (2 URLs) Thanks to the train boys of Jchat; without their constructive criticism I would have significantly (...) (20 years ago, 25-Nov-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.au, FTX)
