The amusement park set has really good models, but probably doesn't give you the same amount of plastic for your dollar as some other sets. My supercar from DYA finally came, and as I put in the steering wheel, I noticed that it only engaged the rear wheels. THis is because the rack gear for steering in front is kind of suspended in space, and doesn't make contact with the spur gear (...) (25 years ago, 11-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

You have to get the latest version of the catalog, or just go to their website. Also, if you are planning on doing any data-taking with the RCX (graphing, analyzing graphs, etc.) you want to get the "e-lab" sets that are at the website, and ROBOLAB (...) Fudd's change sorter in popular mechanics uses a light sensor to distinguish between penny and everything else, and then uses a touch sensor for the others. it times how long it takes a touch sensor arm to reach the coin, which differs depending on (...)
