Re: My humble opinion about LDraw animation

(...) Considering what we have here, I think we need: * A Lego animation file/script format which positions LDraw parts in relation to others, which is then distilled (using a front end) into POV scripts - so POV still handles the rendering. * A GUI (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Lego Train Factory - "preliminary wagon design"

Found it via the Eurobricks forum. Remote baseplate sensor (URL) wagon (URL) track (URL) do like the color schemes shown in the baseplate sensor and wagon shots. -- Bryan "Bryan Kinkel" <helpdesk@loseyourmind.com> wrote in message (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains)

  '05 FLL meetings

Well, I guess we might as well talk about this here than trying to do it via e-mail. I think we should start our meetings either the Sunday after Labor Day (8-11) or sometime the week of Labor Day. I think it would be nice to have at least 1 or 2 (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Stickers scans wanted...

Hi there, I have some old sets, without the stickers, long lost since my childhood. I tried to search on internet, but I haven't found good quality scans (printable). Anyone can help me? I need the scans of the stickers in sets 6363 or 374, for (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.town)

Re: Joe Vig Meets a Lady (A Little Risque)

(...) It's a little off-color, but I don't think it's too bad. I mean, the violent mishaps to which poor Joe has been subjected might likewise garner more than a PG-rating, so Stephen is just pushing the envelope in another direction. For that (...)   Re: My humble opinion about LDraw animation

Nathan, cap yourself. I love it. It's a prime example of the sort of truly warped mindset Lugnet is all too short on. Good choice of faces and a good presentation - it goes from merely sleazy to disturbing very nicely :D. Soren (20 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.town) !

Re: An idea concerning the new RC trains and a new RCX

Re: An idea concerning the new RC trains and a new RCX

(...) Depends. Infrared is very tricky for mobile systems, and a train out of sight (behind houses, in a hunnel) is dead meat in tems of infrared communication... A simple (still reliable!) Bluetooth system should be in the same price range as a (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I love to hear about these. I know building someone else's design, and using someone else's code doesn't sound like a challenge, but I also know setting up BrickOS IS a challenge. And besides, it's pretty cool to watch it stand there... Steve (20 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: An idea concerning the new RC trains and a new RCX

An idea concerning the new RC trains and a new RCX

Hi, all, I know this might just be a shot in the blue sky, but anyway: Lego is most propably working on a new RCX system. At the Legofan site, there is a discussion about things that should be in a new RCX, and someone mentioned Bluetooth as a (...)
