Re: I am not a nazi.

(...) Richie, You are not a nazi. This I believe. You meant to show something other than the impression many people got from your MOC - this too I believe, especially so after this last post. Before going further, please let me state that I've (...) (20 years ago, 20-Aug-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.people, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Quoting Dan Novy <dan@flashfilmworks.com>: (...) There are simpler and less power comsumptive ways to do this (a CdS photocell and a simple transistor circuit or comparator - you will probably see something in IC "cookbooks" or with Google), but the (...) Hey Matthew, Nice keep. We've actually had some discussion of this keep in (URL) this thread> on classic-castle. Bruce (20 years ago, 20-Aug-05, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

Re: When will the Vikings raid the US?

(...) Brendan, As others have mentioned, the Vikings will be a TRU exclusive in October. Someone from Lego (I'm pretty sure it was Jake) said, during his presentation, that the Vikings would be available from S@H "by the end of the year". So I guess (...)   Re: Finally...

(...) Christian, That is an incredible MOC. From the landscaping to the buildings and on to the story. I love it how it all comes together so nicely. I had admired that tree in the past and plan on redoing some of my trees hopfully half as good as (...) (20 years ago, 20-Aug-05, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: several questions about NWBC

(...) Your welcome. (...) Yes there will be a silent auction, not sure about a live auction I'll let Matt Chiles answer that one. Sorry I don't have an answer for your second question. Thomas (...) (20 years ago, 20-Aug-05, to lugnet.events.nwbrickcon)

Re: Dual Hex small piston compressor (repost)

(...) Hi Steve, I literally mean broken. I changed some of the beams to get a different color, and in thbe process created a hose cutter (not unlike a paper cutter) and unwittingly sliced hoses. Once fixed, I never had problems with hoses popping (...) (20 years ago, 20-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Clifftop keep

G'day all, For my latest MOC, I decided to branch out a little bit. For the most part, I build Space, but since I bought a couple of BFF's a couple of years ago, I've been wanting to see what I could build with the parts. I built this: (URL) A small (...)   Re: Lego competition at the Puyallup Fair

(...) David, I've been meaning to enter this year after year and never seem to get around to it. It's not looking any better this year. I've got a Castle display I'm putting on this weekend with Dan Parker and then NWBrickCon just around the corner. (...) (20 years ago, 20-Aug-05, to lugnet.loc.us.wa, FTX)

  Tripping a relay.

I'm constructing something similar those "solar lanterns" you see in people's gardens, except on a larger scale. It charges up during the day, and automatically turns on at night. I'll be using a photvoltaic panel to charge a 12v 12Ah battery. The (...) (20 years ago, 20-Aug-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: When will the Vikings raid the US?

(...) Hey Brendan, I've got no official word, but the word from Brickfest (which I was not at, so this is second-hand) was that these will be in TRU stores in October. I still think they will also be available through S@H, so I think "TRU exclusive" (...) (20 years ago, 20-Aug-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: MegaBloks

(...) All of this information is correct. Please note than when I posted on this thread in early July we did not know when the sets would be released in North America and I was pestering Jake for more information (which he did not have yet).   Re: When will the Vikings raid the US?

(...) Hi Brendan, The Viking sets will be available on SAH and at Toys R Us beginning in October. At fest we all got a small leaflet advertising the sets at TRU in October. This was confirmed in Jorgen Vig's speech and when the Classic-Castle admins (...) (20 years ago, 20-Aug-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

When will the Vikings raid the US?

I've been away on vacation for a couple weeks and a little out of the loop. Does anyone know if/when the Viking line will be available in the US? I searched for info on Lugnet but didn't find much. The Brickfest 2005 keynote speech mentions the line (...) (20 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: I am not a nazi.

Hey Richie, I'm still a bit confused on one question: are you, or are you not, a Nazi? ;) More seriously, I did think the reception you got was over-harsh. This area of humor is always a very tricky thing--Mel Brooks, Monty Python, Charlie Chaplin, (...) (20 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.people, FTX)

  Re: What a fest!!!!

(snip) (...) I can echo the feeling over on the Train layout. I was talking to a family about my red train station, when the mom made a gesture and accidentially knocked the stairway roof off.   Re: Dual Hex small piston compressor (repost)
