Re: Vance Quantum line at LEGO Factory?

(...) Well, here it is in a nutshell: you download the free LEGO Designer software (which will soon be available for both Mac and Windows), which is a CAD program you can use to design models virtually, using a restricted but hopefully adequate (...)   Re: Mini moonbase, anyone?

(...) Hey, that sounds really cool. I'm rather drawn by the smaller scale of it all. But it kinda depends on when during September - first weekend I'm helping to run Tacticon, third weekend I'm helping to run Nan Desu Kan. Interestingly enough, in (...)   Re: Modellmessen 2005

(21 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.loc.no)

  Mini moonbase, anyone?

Hi guys, I know most of you are into space. I don't have very much space gear, but I did pick up a lunar baseplate at a garage sale the other day, and have been itching to find some use for it.   Re: Brickfest winner Pneumatic Master

(...) I'm not that big a fan of head to head competition. I think that every person who brings a MOC is a winner, as are those who don't. One thing to note is that Steve Hassenplug, that genious robotics/techic guy (who is also great to be around in (...) (21 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.events.brickfest)

Small insight into LEGO CAD system

While at Brickfest, I met Dave Bird, a technic designer for LEGO. He is a very nice guy, and a pleasure to spend time with. We talked about many things, but one that really got my attention was talking a bit about CAD. Dave wondered shy we had our (...) (21 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad)
