  Re: First BUGS meet?

(...) I think it's also fair to say that not everyone who is "into" Lego in Brisbane is necessarily looking for the same thing out of a "meeting". And so as the community of into-Lego people in Brisbane grows larger, the need to accommodate a wider (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

Broken or defective 12v train motors wanted.

I need some internal parts for one of my lego 12v train motors. If you have one or more that is broken or not running (for any reason), I'd like to buy it from you. You can contact me in private if you prefer (just remove everything upto, and (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: First BUGS meet?

(...) I was not an original Bug, nor am I currently a Brislug. I am more an invisible lurker here in Brisbane, but I would love to become actively involved in the Brislug group. I have enjoyed all the encounters I have had with Brislugs and would (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: "Traikon" Heavy Assault Mecha

(...) No apology is needed. I am glad you were able to use the idea. Eric and I had worked on the frame together to improve it. When I built the original, it had its flaws but served its purpose as a frame to build over. Eric mentioned some ideas (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: The LEGO Revival Survey

(...) I've had LEGO products since I was a little child, and they've shaped my way of thinking. I'm a programmer, and bricks taught me how to think more efficiently about object oriented languages. (...) I like the concept of bricks, I always have. (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: The LEGO Revival Survey

(...) I'd be great if there was a web form for this. I could pass it around to AFOLs that aren't in any of these communities that are featuring this survey. Also, maybe you should get this survey mentioned on the larger geek news websites, like (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: 2005 LSC: Voting Now Open

(...) You might try again in a little bit as it may take some time for my creation to trickle through. If no luck by the time I get up for work, I'll do some more digging. -Orion (21 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: The LEGO Revival Survey

I didn't originally reply to this because I prefer automated surveys, but since you need more input... (...) Bottom line - they're fun. They can be used to create just about anything, and you aren't limited to just what the instruction show. (...) (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: lego firmware in hex to high level language

(...) You really have three steps to take: 1) Extract the actual binary code from the S-Records, 2) To disassemble the code, 3) By far the hardest - is to figure out what all that uncommented assembler (with no meaningful labels or variable names) (...)   Re: lego firmware in hex to high level language

(...) I'd like to do that too, but I'd settle for assembler. It can be done if you download the Hitachi H8 processor datasheet and interpret the opcodes. You'll need to understand the memory map to know what's going on. As written, I think the (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Problem with LPub
