Re: SCLTC Sets World Record for Largest US Flag

(...) Club members built the first 6 rows by working on top of a pattern (a mirror image of a stripe, turned upside down so it would not stick). The shape gets locked in as soon as there are two rows of bricks in place. We used 6 rows to increase (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc, FTX)

Re: The schedule, the schedule, what what the schedule

(...) That's good to hear. I just wasn't sure what people were thinking. (...) Agreed. And that was really the intention of trying to get us into The Hobby Show the first time in 2003. Just to provide a fun environment in which people could show off (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jul-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Target clearances begin

(...) Hey, Does anyone know if they will go to the 75% off level, and, if so, after how long? I've checked out my local Target and there are some things that I'd probably not pay $25 for, but, heck, I'd by Clickits* if they got slashed as low as (...)   New poll: How are you involved?

Hey all, In the discussion on the future face of LUGNET, Suz said she wanted to see this as an "organized association of LUGs". This raised the question, to me, of how members of the AFOL community see their involvement. As such, I've written a (...)   Re: Target Toy Sale

(...) You might be a little sad when you receive your BigW catalogue, not a lego brick to be seen. Looks like the only lego I will be getting is the police station from this sale. Lucky though, most of my lego budget was spent at Myer. Anita (21 years ago, 19-Jul-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: SCLTC Sets World Record for Largest US Flag

(...) What about the curve? How did you maintain structural integrity with many people building the moc (as in the shape of the curve)? From my experience with 2x2 bricks and curves they do not have a lot of clutch power. So your building technique (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc, FTX)

  Swan firmware crash!

Hi. I've installed new NQC and BRICXcc to test new functions in fast firmware by Dick Swan. I wanted to see if the new 1/1000th second resolution could let me drive a servo. When I try to use the SetMotorPower128 command, compiler is ok, downloading (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jul-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Re: Gold in them thar hills!

(...) It is interesting to note the irony here.... Brickfest, TLG and The National Trust are celebrating the 50 years of THE TOWN PLAN (Lego System of Play). And the building contest is for building in the Miniland, Minifig, and Micro Scales. But (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: The schedule, the schedule, what what the schedule

(...) I think there's definite interest. I believe Greg and JeffVW were talking about Moonbase/Space stuff. I have a model to show if I could finish the damned thing in time. Hobby Show is an important outing for Canadian Lego fans. It's a place for (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jul-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
