Re: Bionicle MOCs for Brickfest 2005

(Wouldn't cross-posting this to lugnet.events.brickfest have been appropriate?) (...) Do you have a definition for what percentage of non-Bionicle elements disqualifies a MOC? I, for instance, have built renditions of the Transformers G1 Autobots (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jul-05, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: The LEGO Revival Survey

(...) I am a mechanic and have always been fascinated by mechanical items, especially those I can take apart and put back together. I buy technic for the mechanical functions, and other models because I like the way they look when assembled. (...) (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Larger Technic sets and Nitro Menace now on S@H

(...) Not at Toys Toys Toys, not at Bricks & Blocks, so I guess the lesser retailers haven't got them yet. I haven't checked Toy Blox yet 'cause they are far away and they sell some things at above MSRP. All I'm waiting for is for Bricks & Blocks to (...)   Studs invade Bionicle world en masse!

Hey guys, check out the new (URL) Battle of Metru Nui> set. This is the first time I see that many studs in a Bionicle set. I'm not usually into Bionicle; I am a fan of Technic proper, but I saw this and have to say WOW! Kids now get to get into hot (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jul-05, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, FTX)

  The Upper Chattahoochee rides again

Back when I got into LEGO railroading I built my first MOC set of engines, they were part of my Upper Chattahoochee railway. I didn't have a lot of parts and not a lot of experience building trains.   Re: LPub Orientation and Half-Size LDraw files

(...) What if you changed it to check for an individual (*.ori?) file for each part? If the file exists, it contains the orientation info. That way an upgrade would only add new files that don't already exist. The only problem then is if an already (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jul-05, to lugnet.cad)

  LPub 2.4.7 available

I just uploaded LPub 2.4.7.0. I modified the install package to allow custom installation (allows you to avoid overwriting of orientation and half_size). LPub 2.4.7.0 has fixes for page number font save/restore. It also has a fix for BOM and PLI (...) (21 years ago, 30-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Wolves of the Calla

Hello all, Threw together another Dark Tower vignette. This one is from Book 5: Wolves of the Calla. Not much too this one, as the horse and wheel chair take up a lot of space.
