  The LEGO Revival Survey

LEGO is a changing company that many think is not what it should be or what it used to be. The best quality construction toys are made by LEGO. The current customer relationship between LEGO and the people who enjoy the toys they make is the best it (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.general) !!

  Re: Three buildings (A.K.o.S. )

I have just build a rather primitive looking interior detailing module (IDM). It is under development. As you can see, one IDM can be used behind various facades. I still have to do an IDM for the 16x16 module. (4 URLs) Akos (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Lego to revive Duplo and scrap "Lego Explore"

(...) I read a nice analysis of that move in (URL) yesterday. :) Also from the same article: Separately, Marketing can reveal that Lego has signed a partnership with Formula One World Championship-winning team Ferrari. Great, yet more Ferrari (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.duplo, FTX)

Re: Lego to revive Duplo and scrap "Lego Explore"

(...) Yup - I was very happy with this news when it was announced over a year ago ;) Still good news :) Never did like the Explore name. Mark P Collector of DUPLO promo bricks (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.duplo)

  A couple of new MOCs

I was looking at Bruce Lowell's sphere, (URL) and thought it could be applied to trains. When Moderated, the result can be seen at: (URL) then, some deeplinks. I first built an 8 wide, 32 stud long tank car. It can be seen at (URL) interesting part (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Speeder

Looks nice! What's that cockpit piece? I don't recognize it. (Sorry, I'm still a clueless newbie...) Thanks, – Joe (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Another crane builder

Even if it isn't finished, it is still taller than the builder and well done-therefore it is interesting. (URL) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.technic)

Building Techniques (was: Re: Coolest Brickshelf account)

(...) Good point. (...) Yes, I do the same kind of revision style building myself; I make many small revisions along the way, but when I finish, I hardly ever go back after a period of time to revise further. I was talking more about "mistakes" in (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: ISD 10030 colors

(...) Unfortunately, I think that they have done another production run of the ISD, which would be in new gray. (The new gray part being unfortunate; not the fact that they're making more ISD's) I'd call and ask Shop @ Home first, just to be sure. (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.color)

  Re: Y-Wing Advanced

(...) Clean, crisp form. Tight control of colour. Precision usage of "greebles". Ah... Dan you've got spacecraft building down to a science. I love this fighter. Great job! (URL) Mladen Pejic> (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Bushwhacker" Tank Mecha

(...) Dictionary.com says "bushwhack" is basically synonymous with ambush and querrilla warfare. A bushwhacker, aside from being a general term for an ambusher, also refers to "a Confederate guerrilla during the American Civil War". So I dunno why (...)   Re: The schedule, the schedule, what what the schedule

Re: It's coming (new hint daily)

(...) Bryan- Well, now that the secret's out (see earlier post in this thread), I haven't heard any "Dang, I shoulda say that!" responses. Granted, I wasn't trying to give it away at first, but the 13 and the star count made it easy. Thanks to (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc, FTX)

  Re: Coolest Brickshelf account

(...) John, "Waste" is a negative term for me too. My job allows for a lot of creative expression, but I need something more tactile in my hobby. I sit on my *** butt all day and type. Plenty of cerebral activity and creativity, but debugging (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: LDiff available to try

(...) Hi John, Yes, you need to have the reference set in LDraw format. LDiff ignores color, placement and orientation, and only tracks part type. The reference model LDraw file does not need to be accurate when assembled, only accurate as far as a (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LDiff available to try

Hi Kevin, everything installs great and works when I run it now. When I tried it out with the following command line: D:\LDraw\Apps\LDiff>ldiff.exe 4098 d:\ldraw\models\4098...lane_1.ldr I get the following error: Error: official_model 4098 file not (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 8420 Bike

(...) No, it doesn't have front shocks, but that's not a big deal. I think the only problem I have with the set is that the wheels are only attached to one beam for each wheel; rather than using two beams for each side of the axle. It's not a big (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.technic)
