  Re: tougher lego gears

(...) It won't offer any support since the filling is not bonded to (or "integrated into") the gear body - they would just fly out when the gear cracks. (...) Which brings a question: Why use Lego in a rig with wood or aluminum? Is it a Lego MOC (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.parts.custom, lugnet.parts.mod, lugnet.technic)

  Re: A new project...

(...) Hendo, that was the infamous "Bricks Magazine" or something like that. That was sometime around Dec 2002-Feb 2003, organized by someone who has completely dropped off Lugnet. Rumors abound, and likewise, nobody got their money back. The goal (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

Re: mindstorms and trains, what else?

(...) "pass around viruses and pass them on to our Priuses"... It rhymes, so it's my favourite. Now who actually got that top of the line $37k Prius with navigation and bluetooth? And by the way, viruses known to affect bluetooth phones cannot (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

3 noble quests for ldraw part creators - and useful ones, at that!

Hey guys, for my latest Star Wars-related project I'm missing several ldraw-files. Unfortunately, lack of time (and skill) doesn't allow me to put something together myself. 1. the family of space wheels is incomplete! There is a small, medium and (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: New MOC: "Bushwhacker" Tank Mecha

Awesome Spider tank mech man. I'm lovin the concealed wheels and the missiel rack design. The round wedge design sitting upon the top is also nifty. (21 years ago, 21-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: A new project...

John, In regards to your question about the previous ideas of doing a Lego magazine..Yes, this is not a new idea. It has been discussed before in various ways, but sadly until now none have come to fruition. It should be noted for the record that (...)   Re: Non-numbered sets in the database (Re: Book Reviews, feedback)

(...) Yes Dave is right. Dave and Eric Strand have been digging up lots of obscure Samsonite sets that were sold by department stores. As an example a 1969 Sears catalog shows set #49-C-4418, which is a 335 piece basic set. Not exactly a user (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jun-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.suggestions)

  Re: A new project...

(...) I'm a me-too-er on the issue of print as well. I have a slow connection, plus don't always check more than my email when online. (It's a fluke I saw this thread.) If it came mailed in print form, I'd be less likely to miss it. But I'm posting (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jun-05, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

  Re: A new project...

(...) Awesome stuff! One suggestion, coming from someone who works in a copy center. I think this would be better if it were formatted for 8-1/2x11 paper instead of 11x17 paper. This would make printing out a copy a lot easier. Russell BayLUG/BayLTC (21 years ago, 22-Jun-05, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

Re: Where to go in Washington area?

  Re: UCS ISD 10030 colours

(...) All the sets I've seen (from S@H, retail, and others) have been classic grey, so unless they did another run, I think it's pretty safe to assume they're all classic grey. ROSCO (21 years ago, 22-Jun-05, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: A new project...
