  Re: TCLTC Style Track Details

(...) Have you tried adding tan in places where you use more light grey than dark grey? See next to the red & yellow loco here: (URL) Tan has a similar brightness to light grey, so it can break up the monotony of the colour. My research into real (...)   Re: Lego City Airport at Myer

(...) Not until it's 20% off, at least. ;-) (...) Maybe not necessarily, but I'd say generally. The queues at the great Target Toy Sale, the Myer 50% off sale, the Lego Warehouse sales, to name a few, seem to indicate that it generally is. (...) Not (...)   Re: Using stickers on LDraw models

(...) Well, I just tried Niels's L-386 on top of two 2x2 tiles, all three parts put into a subfile. However, this construction failed to generate a seam between the two tiles. The subfile trick only works (or works best) if the sticker is applied to (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

(...) You could expand your themes. You should include the popular themes of City, Castle, Space and Adventure. "Real" modeling and interacting with minifigs is very popular. By adding these themes and Train, the fourth day could be a combined (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.edu)

  BricxCC release news

I continue to work on getting BricxCC ready for a new official release. My sincere apologies for not having one out at the beginning of the year as I had originally planned. Life keeps getting in the way. In any case, I have a new update to BricxCC (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: TCLTC Style Track Details

(...) I agree that black and white have no place in speckling. If one is to only speckle regular LEGO track, then using gray and light gray is a good solution IMO. I wanted to alter the tie frequency of the LEGO track, and so that is why I chose to (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Another Sandcrawler

Hi Matt, Great MOC. My favorite little detail is the use of the brick separator. :) Very inventive. You're right--even though it was not built to scale, it looks great with figs and droids outside. Bruce (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Summer LEGO Building Camp Help

Hi Brian, Just have to say what a neat program this is. I like the idea of building by sight and then building "remotely". I teach adults (or at least young adults) and it's often difficult to get them to accept failure as part of the learning (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.edu)

  Re: TCLTC Style Track Details

(...) John, I've been playing with as well, but I use a slightly differnt meathode for the curves. I'll have to check out what you've done when I get home, thanks for posting. I agree about the speckling, although I'm using gray and very light grey (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
