Thanks for the info; I went yesterday to Oakville and got it. It looks really neat! Pros: 3 section boom more wheels motor to operate both the extension and the hook lowering Cons: Not many technic/regular bricks outriggers (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

I agree in this case. The one case where the new handle seems superior to the old is if you want to attach it to two 1x1 plates with clip vertical to make a hinge point.
