  Re: Trolley

(...) I have always wondered if TLC had some ability to produce limited quantities of parts in odd colors (for prototypes, model shop, etc) without going into the expense of setting up a production injection machine for the purpose. If the mold is (...) (21 years ago, 21-May-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: June 4th Meeting in Monrovia

All is good. Sidebar updated to reflect meeting date. Also, since you are the keeper of the group bricks, it might be nice to get a little free build action going this time around. I've missed that. :) Looking forward to this one! Monrovia in June. (...) (21 years ago, 21-May-05, to lugnet.org.us.lugola)

  June 4th Meeting in Monrovia

I know it's short notice, but I don't think we should go too long without another meeting. So I'm hosting a meeting June 4th at my house. I'll get fold out tables this time so there's lots of table space. As always bring models and such. Food will (...) (21 years ago, 21-May-05, to lugnet.org.us.lugola)

  Wanted: tan train windows

Specifically: (URL) 1x2x3 Train Window> (URL) 1x4x3 Train Window> I realize that these have never been available through "normal" channels, so I am posting this in hopes of finding individuals lucky enough to have come across them. They are (...) (21 years ago, 21-May-05, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, FTX)

  Re: Trolley

(...) Well, what do you know? Thanks for the info. I think I'll mosey over to B-S-T and put in a little request:-) JOHN (21 years ago, 21-May-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Trolley

(...) Did someone say Tan windows? Ooops Tan Train windows.... Yep 21 of the 1x4x3 and 10 of the 1x2x3 tan train windows were sold on Bricklink in the last 6 months. I find some strange items that I never knew existed, on Bricklink.... things like (...) (21 years ago, 21-May-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: The all-new LUGNET .Underground

(...) I believe that PLM (what the models and the casing were called. It's short for Poduct Line Model) featured RoboForce and Exploriens. The PLMs were built by Enfield model-builders for a long time untill about 1999. They stopped coming (budget (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.underground)

  Re: Trolley

(...) Wow. Tan train windows. But has the 1x2x3 train window ever been produced in tan, to anyone's knowledge? JOHN (21 years ago, 21-May-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: LPub 2.3.0.7 available (ldGLite working and looks Marvelous)

(...) I agree, but I would suggest calling it something more like "Restore Defaults" to avoid confusion. A "set default" button might be misinterpreted to mean that the current settings will be saved as the default settings. --Travis (21 years ago, 21-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub

(...) I've seen the described problem when I select a file from the recent files list, and then try to render it. Everything works fine if I manually open the file, but it definitely fails if I select it from the recent files list after having (...) (21 years ago, 21-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LPub 2.3.0.7 available (ldGLite working and looks Marvelous)

(...) Great! One thing you do have to keep in mind when using LDView as the renderer is that LDView's background color will show through transparent pieces to some extent. The LPub background will also show through, but the color calculation that (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: LPub

(...) I have no explanation for this. The creation of the LPub dir and all subdirectories is all done in one function. The LPub\LDraw dir is the first one created. I just tested LDView and ldglite on windows 98. ldglite worked just fine. LDView does (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Spanish galleon of the treasure fleet

(...) This is the best Lego boat I've ever seen, it's hard to believe it's made out of bricks and not any pre-made forms. One aspect I really like about this is how you've managed to achieve a sort of iceberg quality, you just assume that this boat (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

Re: My MOCs: large scale jets, cars, and trucks

Hey, Nice stuff! It is the school bus that really catches my eye (all though all the MOCs are great...) maybe that says something about me? : ) Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.town)

  Re: LPub

(...) Kevin, this is the same error I documented here (URL) (before I saw this thread). It appears to be a LPub bug, as creating the sub-dir manually gets around it. ROSCO (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LPub 2.3.0.7 available (ldGLite working and looks Marvelous)

(...) It may be common to all recent releases, but I've found when rendering with ldview or ldglite (havent tested with pov-ray, but can't remember the problem) if the lpub\ldraw sub-directory doesn't already exist I get an error. If I create it (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub

(...) LPub does a few things with mpd. First it unpacks the MPD file into LPUB\LDraw. If there is already a version of main.ldr there and read only, it could be a problem. Does your MPD have path information in the "0 FILE" statements? (...) If none (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.cad)
