Re: So what is "Underground", anyway?

(...) Actually, IMHO, I think LEGO did develop the theme, albeit under different guises; the "ice" theme became "Arctic"; the rock/space theme became "Life on Mars"; the sense of 'adventure' became, well... "Adventurers"; etc. Maybe we need some (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.underground, FTX)

Re: PROPOSAL for new track (was Re: New Lego Track!

I've also snipped all the rest away because I agree with it, close enough, and I want to focus on certain things But if I get it right, what your trying to say is that posting in newsgroups etc is easily overlooked and taken for granted so it is (...)   Re: ISCC entry by Michael Jasper

(...) I recall seeing this when it was first put up on 1000steine. I loved the idea; I just wish I could see a properly translated version instead of one in mangled English the way Babelfish and Google do. Legoswami (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.trains, FTX)

  true realtime event?

Hi I am trying to find out whether the event in Robolab is a truly realtime interrupt. Once the event is triggered, does it truly preempt the current running process? Input or suggestion to reading material will be appreciated. ---...--- -------- (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: The all-new LUGNET .Underground

Suz, did you ever get a chance to see the "Life On Mars" truck tour? There was a Martian world under the surface of Mars in the truck--it was quite neat, including the skiing martians, the polar bear chasing one, the night club, with one or two (...)   Double Stack 10170

With bated breath I am awaiting a mid-June arrival of two double stack 10170 sets. My intent is to build them into either a three or four bay set. My skills in CAD are insufficient to build up the set in LDraw from the pictures released so far. Is (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Gazebos for my wedding cake...

(...) Congratulations and best of luck! BTW, are the Vandyke heads modified? I actually finally shaved mine off, but during the years I had it I was always disappointed that I couldn't find a good mustache-goatee combo. The best I found was the (...)   Re: Frisco 1630 and other Info

(...) I know this is an old thread but if you're still out there Brian I am interested in knowing more about your radio control mods. From what I can work out fromthe pics you were using the two channel version, what did you do with the steering (...) (21 years ago, 18-May-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  Spherical Podule Instructions

OK, this is the big one. This is the DAT file, broken up into instructions (and multi-coloured layered steps, if you'd prefer) for building my Spherical Podule and hexagonal corridors. The master assembly steps show where the main components go. You (...) (21 years ago, 18-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Spherical Podule  [DAT]

This is the DAT file for my Spherical Stellar Cartography Podule. Each part of the structure tells you how many to build. You need one stand, one base and one top. The stand uses the 'Classic' Moonbase standard, so you'll have to put longer legs on (...) (21 years ago, 18-May-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Lego display at Merrist Wood Open Day 15/5/05

The display went very well. At least 3000 people saw it out of the 12000+ that attended the event. There were six of us displaying. There were many cases of parents having to drag their children away and in some cases vice versa. The feedback I've (...) (21 years ago, 18-May-05, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: 12V to 9V - why the switch

(...) Absolutly! Dave, I've made several of these for myself and the SCLTC, and they work great. Thank you so much for publishing your mod. We used 7 of these, in various flavours on our last layout.   Re: Brickfilms Animation Contest (entries to be showcased at Brickfest)

(...) Yes, I found that after I posted my message here. I (obviously) don't normally visit brickfilms.com, so I missed out -- a few months ago I probably would have made an attempt. Next year I'll remember to start poking around in the spring. Best, (...) (21 years ago, 18-May-05, to lugnet.animation)
