  Re: General Box #1 thread

(...) Please add a Canadian tour to the end of this thread. The order will be arranged mildly by geographical location. The individuals who have asked to be added are: James Brown John Koob (1) Alan Findlay (1) Vincent St. Martin Eric Degiuli (2) (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: The History of LEGO Plates - Part 1.

Well, I've done a lot of digging, and I've encountered more Cellulose Acetate bricks and plates than I thought I would find. First of all the 751 Architectural set I purchased from a gentleman in Belgium earlier this year contains all Cellulose (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Train Module at BayLUG

(...) I'm interested, though it's only fair to say I won't be there this time. Yet, put this in your pipe and smoke it: what about having a train-themed meeting for November? Note that I'm replying to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf in hopes that even more (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.sj, lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: Some window questions

(...) I have about 20 of those roof support hinge pieces (in about 4 different colors), and none of them have glass. I doubt any ever did. As to whether the glass will fit it, I've wondered that myself, but never pursued the answer. I do have some (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Train Module at BayLUG

(...) The GMLTC is currently discussing the possibilities of being at the NMRA show next year in San Jose. We would very much like to do it, but we would need some "support" (ahem!) from either the NMRA, or perhaps even TLG / LSI (dreaming!)... Our (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains.org)

  Train Module at BayLUG

Would people be interested in seeing how the GMLTC modules are made? I am working on one and am trying to finish it before the BayLUG meeting. I would prefer to hear that people are actually interested, though, as it is really putting me under the (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.sj, lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: Some window questions

(...) If this is blasphemy, then burn me at the stake...... .... because I've done this a lot with the 1x4x3 windows. I reverse them too, but in an inside corner, the notches are in the way .... so off they come. About 10% of my 1x4x3 windows are (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Some window questions

Hi, Gary thanks for the additional info. I was also wondering if the 1x4x2 vehicle roof support hinge (which is pretty common) has ever had glass in it. In other words will glass from classic 1x4x2 windows fit in it. thanks, Chris (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Space Original Creations Etc.

(...) Not to nitpick too much, but I think you need to rotate your ring. In a space station, gravity is made by spinning. This produces artificial gravity toward the outside of the ring. This would make the very outside the floor, but you currently (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)
